Ive used mine before because the rad was too big to fit internally.

1-800-got-junk? doesn't care at all about its environmental impact. No sorting what so ever happens to what goes on their trucks it all goes to landfills. All the ads will say they recycle and that they repurpose old furniture but I was threatened with being fired when I recommended donating antiques instead of dumping a load of furniture.

More jobs and more profits comes before anything else in that company, including employee health and safety. Several times I was told to enter spaces we werent trained for (attics and crawl spaces) and carry waste I legally couldn't transport (human/organic wastes and the laws states the driver is fined the company). One guy injured his shoulder during an attic job and was told to finish the shift or lose his job. Absoulte scum of a company with very sleazy management and possibly the labour board in their pocket as they kept "losing the files" when I tried to file a report with buddy's shoulder (he was hesistant to report for fear of losing his job).

Or even like modern wifi. I saw a vacuum with wifi capabilities. Do I really need to check my vacuum battery level from my phone?

I cannot understand people that argue their 6 lane stroad is better than this in any way. It may feel more convenient for some, but at what cost?

The victims involved in crashes aren't always rich. People in other cars or pedestrians and cyclists can be injured by these mistakes.

Parking minimums are the stupidest regulation to ever exist, especially given the entire regulation is based on very little data and evidence of parking requirements.

How the fuck did "buy your neighbouring building, tear it down, and pave surface level parking lots" become the norm to start a business?

Especially when you consider that atheletes tend to be unattractive, have poor body shapes, no confidence. Definitely no sex going on.

Everyone should deserve a home. Maybe that home should be a cell if you're a racist power tripping murderer, but if you out here genuinely trying to protect your community/country, you deserve a home.

I bring enough ice fishing gear to over night on the lake in a hut and fit it all with room to spare in a small hatchback. The idea you need a truck to do outdoorsy things is mostly propoganda.

It is also a disaster on an environmental scale, and not just due to emissions.

If we continue to tip as a wage subsidy, where is the motivation to make companies actually pay their workers?

If you considering purcahsing and travel time to the store, recipe research, cooking the recipe, eating the food, cleaning the kitchen and the dishes, it adds up to a lot of time each day/week. Maybe not as much as sleeping but as a single adult living alone i probably spend at least 2-3 hours worth a day on the above tasks.

The nerve that some asshole thinks they are entitled to hundreds of thousands to millions of taxpayer money to protect their wealthy property while the average american can barely afford a run down home or rent.

My refrigerator/freezer. Lets me buy food at ideal times (sales etc) and keep it fresh until it is conveneient for me, sometimes months later in the case of the freezer.

So by this logic church patrons would have to leave the premises to eat a snack, participate in a church meal, or even eat one of those wafers they sometimes hand out.

FTL and to a lesser extent their second game Into The Breach.

RNG heavy strategy games with lots of micromanaging.

Have you considered letting them party and being a cool responsible adult that sticks around to make sure everyone is safe. I had some friends growing up with parents like this. Their theory was the kids are going to party anyway so if you give them a safe space its less likely to go poorly. Anyone who got a little too sick or emotional ended up with an experienced adult to help them recover.

Imagine how much worse your day gets when you're already being arrested then the cop has to request a bigger cruiser to take you away

Growing cattle has also had a massive impact on the environment. And you often need more land for animal based materials because you both need land for the animals and the land to grow food for the animals. With cotton at least you just need land for the cotton.

If you get blisters from that shoe but not the other over the same distance, then the first shoe is not fitted correctly or your socks are too short.

Housing, food, car insurance and alcohol are all pretty expensive in Canada

Higher bumper heights reduce close range visibility and increase pedestrian mortality and injury in collisions. The reduced visibility has increased risk of running over children and pets hidden in the blind spots.

They can, but the current system is far more profitable.

As a young adult who wanted to avoid debt, my rules were somewhat similar

  1. Car must be used, for sale by private seller. Avoids dealership fees, warranty fees etc.

  2. If I cannot buy it in full, in cash that day, I cannot afford it.

You know what else could reduce gas spending but without relying on the market? Making it possible to exist in America without a car by building walkable cities and public transit.

Wouldn't the EPA shut them down anyway at the deadline? Thats what the EPA would do right? They would follow through with their regulations right?

Fallout 3 had a better atmosphere than vegas IMO. The ruins of the city, subways tunnels to travel, the absoulte warzone that was anywhere infested by the mutants. It really built up a world that was hostile and ruined. I wish FO3 had the same level of faction depth as FONV.

The most effective way to dig out of the car centric hole is in your local governments. They have the most control over the urban spaces that you will be in.

That is because your transit is underfunded and under prioritized. Good, viable transit is as fast or faster than cars.

"They've only been tracking for decades, don't believe their lies. They just want to tax and control you. Volcanoes exist so it is impossible for carbon to even be bad. Its just a warm year, jeez people really forget the weather can have ups and downs. I wouldn't mind every winter being warm anyway"

I would much rather someone be aborted than be raised in a house by people who don't really want them, arent prepared to care for them, and can't afford to raise them.

I can also go camping, paddling, mountain biking, snow shoeing, snowboarding. Really the main outdoor activities I couldn't do are motor sports, and thats not really a traditional outdoor activity and my tow capacity is what stops me.

Depends on the where the blood is. If the dick has enough extra blood to reach at least half chub its gonna be a yes from me.

We put lead in gasoline well aware that lead was toxic and knowling fully that lead would come out the tailpipe and it still took us decades to reverse that decision.
