Hello! That's my main mbin account, my kbin account is @Fitik

I'm just a regular person from Israel🇮🇱 And a Fediverse enthusiast!

Another reason why I like Fediverse

If Lemmy.world would have full control over it, this community would just get banned, but there's more and it is still accessable from all other places

Sorry, that's a cool infographic, but how is it related to the Fediverse?

As Israeli - Very good explanation indeed, thanks! I would mention a few things like Israeli Arabs and that not all Jews are from Europe and most are actually Mizrahi Jews(Come from Arab countries), but well written explanation overall

Sad, but your choice will be completely understandable, I wish #beehaw success anyways, I had mostly positive experience with it users.

Librewolf's official community is on ml sadly !librewolf@lemmy.ml

It haven't tho, he presented himself in Israel as "mister security" and 7th of October only ruined his ratings to the ground, just look at the opinion polls

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_for_the_next_Israeli_legislative_election

I'm happy that I've cancelled my Netflix a while ago.

it's closed source, no thank you

@asdfasdfasdf@lemmy.world There's Servo ( @servo@floss.social ), it's a browser engine written in rust

@kolorafa@lemmy.world Eh, probably still better than siting with dictionary tring to translate word by word, no? Especially if you don't know the language For some of these languages there was no machine translation before that at all

all of those useless ones

No language is useless, please don't say that, some are just smaller

You might check out this - https://lemmyverse.net/communities

Monetization is one of the main problem of PeerTube, it's more expensive to make videos than to write threads, and while on YouTube/Odysee/Rumble content creators earn money, on peertube they often need to pay to instance operators to pay for hosting

User experience for peertube is not the best too, while in the most of the Fediverse for instance to connect with other instances a user just needs to follow someone on it, on peertube instance owner needs to add instances to the list to federate their content

Israel haven't continued bombing in the time of the current ceasefire, can you please give the source of the claim?

It doesn't really exist in software I'm using:( (Mbin)

@Blaze@reddthat.com On my instance there is 3 active communities, I am not admin in any of them but i think they're pretty cool

!Firefox@fedia.io - Community dedicated to the firefox browser !FirefoxCSS@fedia.io - Community dedicated to the customization of Firefox !FloatingIsFun@fedia.io - Got very cool CSS and looks pretty and customized, dedicated to art and pics of floating things

@Interstellar_1@lemmy.blahaj.zone Yes, but I use microblogging site of the Fediverse pretty often, and recognize more names from there

(Software I'm using supports both Lemmy and Mastodon etc so I'm exposed to both)

What your source for 60-70? All other sources I seen say much more
At least 1000 Hamas terrorist were killed inside of Israel (Those who infiltered at 7th of October) according to the same (Pro-Palestinian biased) source that the OP used

@MacedWindow@lemmy.world Mbin, it's a kbin fork

https://fedidb.org/software/mbin

I am pretty sure there's more software that can do it, I know Friendica can interact with Lemmy communities for example, but it's more similar to Facebook than Lemmy

@Interstellar_1@lemmy.blahaj.zone

Actually that's a great idea, thanks, I'll do it right now!

What proof do you want for stuff like that?

Actually no, according to the poll Hamas support in Gaza slipped(while it grew in PA).

Only 52% of Gazans supported HAMAS a few weeks ago, and it may be even lower right now. https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/poll-shows-palestinians-back-oct-7-attack-israel-support-hamas-rises-2023-12-14/

I am talking about apolitical communities, or those that are supposed to be apolitical at least, i apologize if I haven't made it clear enough in my original thread.

For those wanting to follow them from kbin their profile is @mike@flipboard.com

Agree, I wanted to edit it for it to say what have he said but rules state to not change the title.

There's also Friendica, it's more often use for #blogs while Mastodon mostly used for #microblogs

You can also follow #Lemmy communities using #Friendica groups feature

@threelonmusketeers@sh.itjust.works Both of these instances use mbin, there's pretty much no instances left on kbin except kbin.social, almost all instances migrated to mbin

@MattWalsh@sh.itjust.works @Glowstick@lemmy.world

What would stop them? They killed civilians, so what's stopping them from killing hostages they don't plan to return?

They (officials) never claimed it, it was only 1 journalist who said it, Israel claimed that 40 babies have died some with their head missing and that's true.

I completely understand it and your point is valid. However, I was talking about communities unrelated to it, I am not even apolitical myself, I say so because I usually have 2 separate accounts for interacting with political content and non political one, but when I tried to do it on Threadiverse - I failed.

There's a list of the most popular ones, perhaps venera.social or libranet.de ?

Says lemm.ee user lmao

If your project open source then you can do it, and give it to maintainers or someone else, or let anyone work it. Life can get busy for everyone

Sounds very cool, haven't heard about Fedi #tumblr clone yet! Great job

Perhaps you could also try asking it at !mastodon ?

Friendica is the closest good alternative to #Facebook there is on Fediverse, I suggest checking it out

That's one more reason why open source is a way to go. You can never know if you'll get in a though life situation for example.

fedia.io is the biggest one and the one I'm using, there's also kbin.run and kbin.earth

It's from 1st of November, more than a month old, doesn't it break rule 1?

Recent (Past 30 Days)

And it was posted before too I'm pretty sure

a bunch of the casualties from the October 7th attack were caused by the IDF themselves.

They weren't, it's a conspiracy theory
