We should not try to include as many people as we can at all cost. We should be honest and ensure people join the Fediverse because they share some of the values behind it.

I'm not against local oriented communities, but the hub and spoke model looks like centralisation with extra steps to me. I prefer decentralisation.

I'm new here, so i hadn't much time to engage there. One thing i was happy to find was a ADHD community on lemmy.world, it's a bit of a bummer that i can't access it from here. I think it's the largest one. Found another one on kbin though and ADHD memes is really cool.

I have cookies and javascript completely disabled and can read it without any problems. (firefox on laptop, noscript, idontcareaboutcookies)

I ended up subscribing to magazines from kbin today, too. Still a lot to discover. lemmy.dbzer0.com has a lot of interesting stuff as well.

Having ADHD myself it was just another task to struggle with, nothing out of the ordinary. I put it on my list and did it at a time i could concentrate on it sufficiently.

Well, i wouldn't be able hold a desktop job. So far i've worked construction and social work (at a outside place). I need a minimum of physical exercise and new-ish input to function and focus. I've heard about people using some kind of treadmill under the desk or pezzi balls to sit on. Music helps too when i have to do paperwork. Currently i use some downtempo electro for that.
