But aren't most people in their 80's on a bunch of drugs anyway? Like blood pressure pills, cholesterol medicine, diuretics, arthritis medication etc? I'm not trying to stereotype older folks, but every person I've met over 60 seems to take a lot of pills.... that help them live and perform actions they couldn't otherwise.

What i really wonder about is how long a site can profit off of the majority of activity coming from bots. I'm not tech savvy enough to know if the analytics can tell the difference between a bot posting and a person. How long can that go on before the site stops being profitable via ads? Will companies pay to advertise to bots? Would they even know? It's kinda funny to think about honestly.

My parents attic was a bat haven. Every once in awhile one would get into the house. I'd just put thick leather garden gloves on and GENTLY pluck them off the curtains. Then carry them outside, hold them above my head and let them go.
Bats can't take flight from the ground(putting them on the ground is a death sentence), so you have to give them some height so they can glide away. Just thought I'd share this in case anyone gets a bat trapped in their house.

Make sure the bat takes flight...some people might not know that and just put it on the ground and go back inside thinking it's fine.
Holding it up high ensures it does that, no need for it to find something to climb. Being trapped in a house is stressful on the little guys so why not give them the best chance?

If the bat isn't afraid of people call animal control because it is sick with rabies or something and shut it in the room it's in. Usually they are very timid and will try to get away from you though.
I should've added that rabies is very rare in bats where I am so that's probably why I was given the advice I was.

If you consume any iodized salt you should be good on that, unless you have a medical condition that prevents your body from absorbing it properly. In fact people don't really get goiters anymore since the introduction of iodized salt which was done to prevent said goiters(a goiter is a swollen thyroid from lack of iodine intake iirc).

Unfortunately for women they weigh the side effects of hormonal birth control against those of a pregnancy. Since pregnancy also increases the chance of blood clots and other things they just say "good enough!" And put it on the market...which is bullshit. Either way we're at higher risk of serious health issues.
That's why women are angry. I feel confident saying the majority of women dont want unsafe bc for men. We want more research into safer bc options available for us too.
I just looked up how US citizens can fight judicial corruption and apparently corrupt judges can be reported to the Judicial Conference of the United States, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Transparency International or the Judicial Integrity Network.
Maybe we should start reporting every judge that pulls crap like this to these agencies. Maybe something will actually change if/when investigations start happening.

The chess one isnt quite right. There's been experiments where if a woman player didn't know her opponent was a man she would perform better. It's called stereotype threat phenomenon.

Basically people in general psyche themselves out of their best performance when going against someone they perceive to be better than them whether that's factual or not. Confidence and undermining confidence can change a whole lot about how a person does in any given game or task.

I'm kinda ashamed of this, but I used to prefer the raw milk from a local dairy farm because it comes with all the fat and cream(you have to shake it before drinking) and it tasted soo freaking good. They vaccinate their cows and only have about 8 of them.

How often I witness roadrage/aggressive drivers makes the mass gunownership in this country kind of terrifying. I've seen a truck try to push another car off the road for getting off a left hand exit. I can only assume the truck driver was mad at the car for "being in the way." The power tripping and entitlement to being aggressive towards others combined with your list of problematic cultural phenomenon and guns is horrifying.
So this issue is boiling down to a luddite-esque type of situation. Except this time it's the rich business owners getting pissed instead of poor textile workers.
I think it's probably more simple than that. Trump is jealous that Putin has his own country and he doesn't. In Trump's mind he's the best so he also needs to own an entire country just so he can outdo Putin.
