A man has been arrested in Kern County, California, for allegedly removing human remains, a leg, from a location other than a cemetery.

You're telling me that removing it from a cemetery would have been ok?

I think that's because there were surgery rooms where students can watch operations from above

That sound dangerous when doing something other than reading. Even walking could be a problem without having peripheral view.

This morning my colleague was sent to a school she didn't know, so she used GMaps to get the directions. She parked her car, but wasn't able to find the school. She called me and we found out that GMaps sent her almost 1km away from her destination. I gave her the correct address and she was able to find the place, but she was late for work (no big deal anyway). After further inspection, I found out that the school was mapped as an insurance office. I suspect it's a case of vandalism, but who knows.

Here in Northern Italy near Bergamo, we have something called "Gratacornia", an half human-half goat creature, which was used to scare kids. The Gratacornia waits for the kid on top of the stairs in darkness and scratches his hooves with his long horns (Gratacornia is formed merging "Grata"=to scratch and "Cornia"=horns).

So what does it means "Legally blind" if he can drive and read? What's the threshold to be considered legally blind?

"Everything looks easy after you've learnt how to do it" this is what I always say to the kids I help doing their homeworks.

So basically this XKCD comics happened in real life https://xkcd.com/978/

This War of Mine is a great game. It's frustrating searching homes, making bad decisions (i.e. killing other civilians) and then finding nothing for your home group. It perfectly gives a sense of sadness as a civilian in a war.

I bought Stardew Valley last Wednesday. There's so much more than I expected. I thought this was like a farming simulator with pixel art. Boi I was wrong.

My main issue with browser PDF reading is that I can't compile and apply my signature on PDF with them, which are the main reasons I'm still using Foxit.

Have you ever tried something based on OpenStreetMap? Apps like Organic Maps or OsmAnd are really useful and work offline too.

I really love the design of this app, but it's still missing a "Older first" settings which is keeping me from using it.

I understand what you mean and I agree that in those cases GMaps is more useful. But then, if no one adds anything OSM database will always be empty. So, if you don't find something, use GMaps, that's fine. But then, what you were looking for should be added to OSM (after real-life checks, since GMaps cannot be used as a source) to help future users.

Yes, it happened to me once. I dreamed I was the main character in GTA: San Andreas, but I wasn't CJ, I was myself inside the game. It was pretty weird, but stealing a truck was amazing.

I can kinda agree. I mean, I usually play to have fun and blow off the stress of a work day. This War of Mine isn't good for neither. But it's an amazing game and I agree, it's built to make you fail. But how else will it let you feel how civilians feel in a war if it was easy to win?

I don't think there are, but in OsmAnd you can tell the app to avoid certain roads. It's not really what you're looking for, but I think that this is the closest you will get (for now).

There are forks (I use TachiJ2K) but who knows what their future will be.

No, that's your cousin, Space Needle

Looks like the standard tractor found in the game. I don't know why it's green, maybe a mod (I doubt that it can be pimped) or a bug?

You can add them (Beginners' Guide)

Yes, that's exactly what it is. In Italy we have those at train stations and airports.

The only thing that's preventing me from use ReadYou is that it's still missing "Older first" reading order (and that's why I'm using Feeder).

I started GTA V for the first time. Until now it seems pretty funny, even if controls feel clunky

Are we sure TachiJ2K will still be developed? I really hope Kakao won't threaten them too.

Ok, I understand. Thank you for your explanation. I live in Europe and I'm not sure we have something like that here. I think that if you can't see very well you can either drive with glasses or be denied to drive.

Unfortunately I can't. I'm trying with Automation, though

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro. I can't find it, I can only find the Do-not disturb auto activation.

If you are talking about the arrow during the navigation, when the navigation starts use two fingers to rotate the map. This will make a little compass appear on the upper left corner of the screen. Tap on it until you get the map printed in the direction of the movement.

Thanks!
