Also, he has done surprisingly well and pushed for a lot of progressive policies. I think she's right to call out people for saying he has done nothing. And that doesn't mean he's beyond criticism (judges are blocking his online immigrant application requirement thank God).
I feel like developers have completely given up on optimizing games. Any game should be able to run on the SS. Most games can run on last gen consoles
It really feels like a FOMO relief for people who want to go all digital. Just in case you want to get discs later.
In other words, Sony wants you to buy digital and don't worry so much about it.
Hasn't every other generation come with a price decrease and a bigger size reduction? This seems like it's really just a new model.
The biggest upgrade is the SSD size. But digital is getting more expensive (but also has the disc drive option). Seems like it's just not enough upside for anyone to get excited over compared to previous generations.
Caring for the people? Sounds like woke radical leftist Marxist propaganda (actual shit I hear on a daily basis).
The Republican party could stop trying to hurt people at any moment. Hell, I'm in a red state and our last Republican governor wasn't too bad. But it's all just hate now. And anyone who opposes that hate gets more hate from people like you.
Not sure what you're talking about with the CIA plant stuff. But it looks like he did his time and reformed after smuggling aliens. Good for him.
2 of my favorites of all time. Final Fantasy VIII and Morrowind.
Final Fantasy VIII, to my knowledge, never once tells you that enemy levels scale. This wouldn't be a problem if you never grinded fights (for exp, AP, items, etc). I think the intention was that you would never need to grind so you never would (the game is actually super easy). But people do grind, and you can level up very quickly if you want to.
Morrowind just drops you into the world, for better or worse. There are some prompts to familiarize you to menus. But that's it. Most of the basic functions are self explainable. Except fatigue. Fatigue affects everything you do. And you won't realize that it's the reason whatever you're trying to do isn't working. Most players get frustrated and quit because they can't hit anything with their weapon, not realizing it's because their stamina bar is drained.
It's not even a puzzle! It's just waiting!
Honestly, I wouldn't even say the second part about conservatives. In my experience, most centrists agree with Democrats on most issues. But Republicans try their hardest to make politics a mudslinging contest so centrists become disinterested. That evens the playing field.
All that to say yes, I agree with you that they are uninformed. And it's caused by the most vile of the Republicans because they can't compete if centrists stayed engaged.
Finding alternate ways of playing a game, whether by doing a self-imposed challenge, or just playing a game differently than it was intended, are a good way of spicing up games you've played hundreds of times.
Or in some cases, playing the game how it's meant to be played. Like in a lot of RPGs, you're not really supposed to grind.
I played Final Fantasy VIII without grinding cards, draws, items, or anything until end game content. It was relieving to not have to worry about any of it.
They're letting DeSantis carry that torch, like they did with Trump with his open corruption, hate, lack of accountability, racism, etc. If he wins then suddenly it's okay because it's just politics, both sides, just an opinion, etc.
You shouldn't assume that nobody is.
In the US, there are multiple holidays people get together for. Halloween (to a lesser degree), Thanksgiving, Christmas (or Hanukkah), New Years. Extended families will often get together multiple times for these and then not see each other again until the next year. Thanksgiving really kicks off the retail season with black Friday, but there's also a lot of time off during the winter time from school and work.
It really is a season with Christmas at the center of it. A lot of our "Christmas" songs don't even mention Christmas. It's just songs about winter.
I don't know why you think their values are fake. I would also panic if it was going to destroy my life. It ain't worth it.
Is there a reason you singled out Ben & Jerry's? I'm just curious since Unilever has so many products, that seems like a rather specific and random one to point out.
I thought feature parity was always the expectation for the Series series. This is both interesting and once again making me regret getting the SS. I wish they had just made a digital SX like Playstation did the PS5.
Have you checked out the official app? Last I looked, it defaults to about 1 post visible at a time. You can adjust it to about 4 posts visible. Last I check, 1 of those posts was an ad and another was a recommended post.
It already feels like Facebook.
No, I think the response has been very level headed conversation actually. There's been a lot of focus on Israel simply because of the absolute support they initially got. But I think the discussions have been productive.
FFXV isn't the worst game I've ever played. It's not even my least favorite Final Fantasy. But it's probably the biggest lost opportunity of any game I've ever played by a wide margin. The combat is almost a lot of fun. The magic is really neat. The summons would be awesome if they were more controllable (some summons you will rarely see because of location criteria). The open world is cool, but mostly empty and completely removed from the EXTREMELY linear story.
But the worst offender is all of the story beats that are devoid of context or follow up. Apparently all of the backstory is spread out between the movie, a cartoon, and the DLC. But playing through blind it's just random stuff happening. The game had potential to be the most epic story if they could have stuck the execution of it.
Everyone knows the Chinese government lied about the virus. It would be more surprising if they hadn't threatened the doctors.
This wouldn't be newsworthy even if it wasn't an Opinion piece.
You think they'd call it the Switch 2? No, it'll be way more vague about being a successor vs an upgraded console. New Switch, SwitchU, 3Dwitch, Switch Swatch, Sandwitch, SwitchPlus, Switch Yellow, Switch One. I'd bet on any of those.
If I already have a subscription, anything extra is, in practicality, free.
I usually just get annoyed at game developers for making camping exploitable. It should be used for setting traps, rewarding good strategy, or risky setups that payoff.
Just a note, it's not $100 difference. It's $200 difference ($300 vs $500). Having said that, the only reason I got the SS was because I couldn't get the SX. I tried and failed. I would have preferred a $400 digital version of the SX even. Settled for the SS. Had to get an SSD expansion card, feature parity is apparently not a thing, had to rebuy a couple games digitally.
Not just anti-vaxx, but also antisemitic conspiracies.
Still playing Final Fantasy XVI. The story and characters are fantastic. Now that I've put some time into it, the combat feels pretty great. Excited to see where it goes. I feel like I'm still in the first quarter of the game.
The plane was taken outside of the environment.
I think most longer discussions are like that regardless. But most conversations that I have seen have been short and informative. Especially now that people have been able to process a bit.
checks which game is "best"
This list is 100% accurate.
Only 2 games that really made me break out pen and paper.
Myst 3 and Final Fantasy XII (The Great Crystal).
If I discriminate at work, I'll get fired. If I don't discriminate at work, I won't get fired. This is not a double-standard. It's THE standard. Pretending otherwise just emboldens discrimination.
I was so excited for XV and it just killed my excitement for the franchise. I almost skipped over XVI because it just looked so uninspired. XVI has really revitalized that excitement for the franchise though. I'm loving this game.
I plan on getting a buddy and going through Strangers of Paradise next. I had played through the demo with a friend and it was a blast.
I like XVI A LOT. Everything leading up to the game was awful and uninspiring. The demo was the only reason I ended up buying it. I can see why though. The whole game is pretty much just spoilers after spoilers. And that's all of the interesting stuff.
Even showing some of the abilities (the fun part of combat) is spoilery.
They would absolutely be calling the whole thing a sham.
I understand not wanting to give up power by ousting them in purple areas, for both parties. People's lives and the trajectory of the country is dependent on which party is in charge, unfortunately. Which is sad in itself.
So do I. Why? Because I can.
Wow, I completely forgot that they gave it a name.
One of my two favorite games of all time. I wish I could unlearn how to play. Some of my best memories are scavenging for anything remotely valuable and finding myself somewhere I shouldn't be at that level.
I was using Jerboa. But I switched to Summit just today. It's a lot sleeker. It feels closer to RIF. But it doesn't show a way to save posts/comments.
Also, neither one has a way to search for keywords.
In my experience echo chambers are either created intentionally or as a result of laziness. You can have safe-spaces with constructive, critical, supportive, feedback.
Or his "stolen election" claims leading up to Jan 6th. People forget. But the whole thing was initially advertised as a reveal of damning proof.
