Yes! Trillian was awesome! I used it fairly religiously from the early to mid 00s. Combined my ICQ, Yahoo messenger, MSN messenger, and AIM. I miss that beautiful, convenient piece of software.

And when they are sued for it, if they haven't been already, it'll never hold up in court. Regardless of the state in question. Fortunately.

You tell'em, Best Friend.

Once again Google finds a way to ruin a good thing. With a $150 price difference between the 8a and main 8 series, I have absolutely no reason to purchase the 8a. There was a time when the A series was half the price of the main series.

Can also confirm. I was the boat.

Alternate headline: a quarter of UK parents are lazy and borderline absentee.

Gotta hand it to the politicians and the media. After that Occupy Wallstreet business, they got to work real quick turning Americans against each other. Successful.

Just curious, why were wanting to replace Mullvad?

It's only a bad thing when it's people I don't agree with.

Is it hard to bear? My overwhelming power? Its weight. Its...girth.

Great. Still using it until I have a good reason not to.

2015 - 2018 I pirated very, very little. Didn't need to. Between Netflix, Hulu, and HBO, I wanted for nothing. Then, every time I went to the bathroom, someone was creating their own streaming service. Suddenly everyone was pulling their IP from Netflix and Hulu. Netflix wouldn't stop raising their prices. Their original shows are ok, but their movies are terrible.

That's in my top 5 favorite episodes. The ending is brutal.

Twitter has a pretty solid metal (music) community that I've come to know and appreciate over time. We share new bands, our opinions on albums, all that good stuff.

Not everything has to be related to politics. People aren't "suspicious" because they don't share all your views.

Yeah I thought I recognized this photo.

Given this choice, I'm confident Lemmy will double down, every time.

I did it at a baseball game on Saturday. Wore it when it got chilly. Put it around my waist when got warmer. Success.

"I saw some shit, Diddy Kong. Things you don't want to know about."

I kinda miss having to visit individual websites to see if they posted any new content/videos. Newgrounds, Squirrelly, Homestar Runner, Stickdeath, thebestpageintheuniverse. Just going to check was part of the fun.

This is synonymous to me with fark.com.

Fucking lol. I love Lemmy. I've never seen such an obscure group of people speak in absolutes so consistently. Puts reddit to shame.

One of my first "hacking" a device was putting Rockbox on a 4 gb Samsung MP3 player in 2010. This device wasn't meant to play/watch videos, but Rockbox unlocked that capability. It had a tiny screen, but still.

Gotta get those cool, Lemmy up votes. You can trade in your up votes for prizes.

Lie when she's aching, lie when she's waking, lie when you know she's faking. Lie, sell shoes, and lie.

The Bundy Credo.

I have an old 1TB hard drive from 2010 that is full of these kinds of memes. Caturday, Ya rly owls, the whole works. I should stop by Fark and see how it's doing.

Thanks I hate it.

Why would he pay people who are stupid enough to work for free? To that point, why would anyone work for free? It's not as if they're being forced to.

2015 - 2018 was great. I barely pirated anything. Netlifx, Hulu, HBO. Those three covered virtually all my viewing desires.

I do sub to whatever instances I want. And sometimes I go to All. It's called an observation. It's ok when people say things you disagree with.

Episode is so stupid, I can't not laugh.

Don't you want to activate your washer when you're at the restaurant?

Consume. Then, consume more.

All shall tremble before the might of the obscure OS with their mighty percentage usage of...

Probably not. I live in the midwest of the US. it's quiet, good school system, small town, within arms reach of several larger cities. Plenty of music venues, arenas close by. With one or two complaints about my state's laws, I am content.

If I had unlimited funds, I might look around out of curiosity, but I doubt I'd go anywhere.

Non-leftist here. Hey. How ya doin'?

That said I would like to see more diverse opinions and sources on my Lemmy feed though. There has to be a base somewhere that isn't literal nazis but isn't open socialists either.

Please, this. Lemmy is boring as all hell. 95%+ of users have the same opinions. It's a giant echo chamber.

Going to see Static-X, Sevendust, and Dope next week 🤘🤘🤘

Not OP, but please, any answer you get, including mine, research for yourself. Most will just push their own opinion as fact. Or pass off someone else's opinion as fact.

In many cultures around the world, these terms are interchangeable. In the US, they were (and for many/most, still are) the same thing until not too long ago. When people were doing gender reveal parties 20 years ago, no one was correcting them that's it's a "sex reveal not gender reveal".

The modern usage of "gender" didn't exist until the 1950s, popularized by John Money, and if you want to research that deviant pervert, be my guest.

To each their own, but Linux makes up 4% of PC OS market share. Can't blame a company for not supporting such a small percentage.

I was curious how smart ass your response would be. Right on cue.

How trusting of you. So your news source "reviews" the news, laced with its own bias and agenda, from another country, and regurgitates it to you. I'm honestly not sure if that's worse or better than getting it from the source country. I wouldn't trust my countries ability to provide me with unbiased journalism about the ongoings of another country. Especially if they're an enemy.
