Fuck that; not going to put my own vehicle in the crossfire.

While I normally don't advocate fucking with another person's property, keying every single panel of this vehicle is absolutely justifiable in this situation.

That and right-wing propaganda. So much propaganda.

Just click on any video from a "liberal media" outlet, (like CNN), and look at the comments. (Or the dislike count if you have Return YouTube Dislike installed.)And then look at a video from Fox News. Nothing but praise for them, while the "liberal" videos are filled with so much hate from right-wing trolls.

If you didn't know any better, you could be lead to believe than 98% of Americans are Republican.

Hijacking this comment cause more people REALLY need to know about Debrid services, such as Real-Debrid. It "caches" torrents, so anything you want can be downloaded instantly at your connection's maximum bandwidth; no waiting for seeds. And since you're not distributing anything, you don't have to pay for a VPN, either.

EDIT: It's kind of like a seed box, except it's more of a collective seed box. So if at least one user added the torrent before, you can download it immediately.

I have a Gigabit connection and was able to download three different AAA titles, 50+ GB each, play all of them, then decide that I don't like any of them, all within a couple of hours. It's mind-blowing how much faster it is than using a torrent client.

Even better, you can integrate it with your favorite media center app like Plex or Kodi (personally I prefer Stremio for its Netflix-like interface). Now you have every show and film from every streaming platform -- all in one place -- streamed instantly to your TV. I'll never use torrent clients ever again. They take too long.

EDIT: It bothers me that so many people are willing to dismiss Debrid services without even giving them a chance. Here's proof that this is legit -- /r/Piracy megathread on reddit | Video 1 | Video 2 (sorry for the shaky phone video. I just wanted to get this evidence out quickly before people move on to a different thread, and it's kinda difficult to have a steady hand when you're trying to film and click at the same time.)

Relay when?

Thunder is okay but it doesn't have filters and it won't load more than 10 posts total when I'm logged in.

*sigh*

What the hell ever happened with ReiserFS (or whatever it was called?) It was supposed to be used in Vista, and then just never was.

See that's the problem with you truck people; a V6 is considered weak in your world.

Meanwhile the V6 in my Genesis Coupe is fast enough to get me to 60 MPH in under 6 seconds. And unlike a truck, it can actually take a corner at speed.

Unless you're a farmer, there's no reason to own a truck. I even bought one once to see what the hype was all about; got rid of it after less than a year cause I was sick and tired of getting 18 MPG and not even having fun while doing it. If I'm going to get poor fuel economy, I should at least be able to go fast.

EDIT: I mean I get the "more practical" argument, but let's be honest with ourselves here: How often do you REALLY use the truck bed? With the money you're saving in gas by driving something smaller and more economical, you could easily afford to rent a truck each and every time you need to move something. You're literally spending twice as much as you need to in gas, just for those occasions where you might need to use the bed. A U-Haul is less than $100/day (inc. gas + mileage); you're spending more than that every time you fill up, when you could be saving over $50 each time at the pump. It's simple math.

Seriously, lol; how did this post even get upvotes? (UpLemmies? Whatever they're called here)

I've been playing that new Ratchet & Clank on PC, and man is it such a fun game to play while high. Beautiful, modern visuals. Very colorful, lots of pretty particle effects. Characters so detailed and animation so fluid that it feels like you're playing a Pixar movie. Easy to pick up and play so it's not overwhelming when you're stoned.

Definitely a must-play if you partake and so-happen to have a decent gaming PC. If not, then I'm sure the PS5 version is decent too.

Honestly I'll never understand why she chose to go down that path. Becoming Muslim goes against everything she stood for. I just don't get it.

I mean you kinda implied it by saying it's one of the smallest engines for the truck. Sorry for jumping to conclusions.

Thank you. I was worried that I was shouting at brick walls for a moment.

I also use Stremio with Real-Debrid. The girlfriend knows nothing about piracy, but Stremio is so easy and convenient that my mother could use it. She uses it almost daily to watch anime that she can't find on Crunchyroll.

People are suspicious cause it does sound too good to be true; I get it. Being able to stream any 4K HDR video you want without buffering seems unbelievable. It's a little frustrating cause I always seem to get downvoted by a bunch of skeptics every time I bring up Debrid. Maybe cause I come on too hard and sound like an advertisement, but I can't help but be fanatical about it. It's just so much better than any other method for obtaining free content!

In rural areas, yes.

In cities, Gigabit internet is abundant and only mildly expensive. Here in Phoenix I pay $60/mo for 1 Gbps down, 50 Mbps up with no bandwidth cap from Verizon. Not the best but far from "awful".

I tried one and it sucked. It couldn't remove shit; just squirted water at my teeth.

I'll stick to dental picks.

Who needs reddit? Now I go to Imgur for memes, and Lemmy for news.

The only thing reddit is still better at is finding an answer to a very specific question (adding site:reddit.com to your Google searches works wonders), but that'll improve with time as more and more people get tired of Spez's bullshit and migrate here. Can't wait to see the death of reddit. Was a member since the beginning and it's sad to see it go the way of Digg.

You might not have to. Look into fixed 5G internet. So long as you have a view of a tower (which you should in a major metropolitan city; I'm in suburbia and still have 3 within view), speeds and latency are as good as a wired connection. I'd look into it.

Well I'm only talking about political news videos, here. Sorry for not clarifying.

That sucks. Happens when there's no competition in your area. Verizon is $60 for 1Gbps here, no data cap, because they have to compete with Cox. Greedy bastards.

You pay $4 more than I do for the same thing (with no bandwidth cap). If you're not out in the sticks, internet is fine here.

Wow I had that in 2008. Damn that sucks. You can't even stream 4K HDR video.

Go for a drive with the GF. Or if I'm staying home: Drink. Smoke/vape/dab weed. Play video games. Hop on the turntables and do a mix for the listeners (I volunteer for an internet radio station in my spare time.)

Bro, you have no idea what you're turning down. I get it; on the surface it does seem sus. I was suspicious too until I tried it. Debrid is an absolute game-changer. It's kind of like a seed box, except it's more like a collective seed box. So if at least one user added the torrent before, you can download it immediately.

I don't know what you mean by "lack of detail / pricing" on their website. The pricing is laid out very clearly, and there's not a lot of explanation cause it's really that simple. (EDIT: Looks like you need to make a free account to see the pricing; I'll admit that's stupid). So here's a screenshot:

You don't have to use Real-Debrid. I just mentioned them cause they're the most popular. Google "Debrid services" for alternatives. There's also a megathread on reddit.

I get the "never pay for piracy" argument, but with torrents you need a VPN to keep your ISP off your ass, so at the end of the day, you're paying for piracy regardless. Debrid is cheaper than a VPN.

It bothers me so much that you're not willing to give it a shot, that I made a video to show you how fast, easy, and convenient it is. And here's another video of me streaming a movie almost instantly, in case you still think I'm full of shit. (Videos might still be processing when you see this, so try again later if the quality is too low for you to see what I'm doing.)

Alright fine. I hope I managed to convince at least one other person, though...

No, I just rinse my ass with the showerhead.

Next you're going to tell me that you wash your hands without soap too.

1 more...

Even if that were true, Debrid services are still faster. Torrents can take a minute or two even get started in torrent clients. Debrid is instant, even if the torrent doesn't have a lot of seeds. Think of it like a shared seedbox, where anyone can add to/download from it. And like I said, it's cheaper than a VPN.

But whatever, do what you want. If you don't want to try it, that's on you. I literally offered to pay for it, and you still won't give it a shot it. I give up.

(Some people, man.)

Like an actual bidet? Or an ass sprinkler that you attach to your toilet?

Question about those things: Where do you add the soap? Or are you just squirting water at your asshole and spreading the shit particles everywhere? You can't get clean without soap, which is why I'll stick to hopping in the shower to wash my ass after a nasty shit (unless of course these things actually do dispense soap; in which case I want one).

Edit: No I don't take a shower after every shit; just rinse my ass off with body wash and the shower head.

Bullshit. Washing without soap does nothing but spread germs around.

Quit making up excuses cause you're lazy, and wash your hands with god damn soap.

I'm blocking you now cause I don't want to see any more comments/posts from your nasty-ass in the future.
