I get where they're coming from. Moderating a huge online presence where people can make posts about things is difficult and costly. But..... It's their platform and they're in charge of it. So........ It kinda sounds like they have to.

$8500? That's his entire salary for risking death for 6 months in a mercenary group? That sounds like a terrible deal.

I imagine this is why many people that might consider it just dont. It's easier sometimes to just do the expected things at the expense of one's self.

Same for myspace. When was the last time that was relevant?

Well it at least is an obstacle. Broke hackers won't get it or will have to work harder to get around it.

I've been thinking this. I get that reddit is a huge platform, but that's exactly why we should let them figure out their own mess. It's not our problem.

I wonder if internally, they're panicking.

I will admit sometimes it's nice knowing what's expected.

You can do this? I'm tempted to do it for myself.

Feels like a good time to bring it back

Or that they'll vehemently reject what you say instead of helpfully explaining their perspective and why you might be wrong. That's always fun.

Hulu I believe

Secondarily, why is a horrible accident cool? I don't agree with this post at all. Boobs are sooooo much cooler.

Yup, gaming and at this point I'm pretty entrenched.

I've tried Linux multiple times and might try it again, but usually it comes down to gaming.

For most people, why get a nuc when you can get a laptop? Nuc fills a niche.

A word of caution... My definitely not woke family member said he doesn't sound that bad.

So..... While I don't support him and I feel he won't win the popular vote, many people will still vote for him and he's still very much a real candidate.

Fair, but for lemmy to truly take off, people need to be actively posting and commenting. If people don't have interest in that, lurkers won't come.

Yeah, getting access into the vpn and subsequently the server is the challenging part. Once you're in, there's so much that can be found quickly and somewhat easily.

It's part of the experience.

Sadly I really like how the classics look and therefore want one.

But I don't drink, at all. And I definitely don't idolize rams. That's a pretty funny generalization to make though.

I've been hearing a lot of bad things about asus lately. It's really disappointing. Did their leadership change?

The third party apps actually dying was the topping point. But it seems there's still much growing to be done

What kind of cost is that?
