Don't multiplayer PC games have anti cheat software that is malware-esque and often times root level? I seem to see folks pissed about all the anti cheat software on PC all the time

Most EA and Ubisoft games I've played run fine on Deck. Just need to run the game in desktop mode first and then it boots in the Steam UI side of the OS just fine.

I'm on your side though. I think the console has better specs to cost for just hardware. Steam sales (and humble bundles) will get my dollar significantly further than it ever will on a console. I bet dollars to donuts Dave The Diver will never be cheaper on Switch than Steam.

Samsung phones have this but apparently the Samsung diagnostic tool doesn't work in the repair mode. Dumbest thing I've ever heard.
I just use a secondary app to lock down all apps when it needs serviced then.
