It says one special character, not at least one. Maybe the password has more than one.

I still remember this nice 'feature' of XScreenSaver.

However, as of 2016 Iceweasel is Firefox ESR again.

You create an account on the instance you'd like to move to. After that you can use some migration script to migrate your bookmarks and subscriptions, like one of those mentioned in this post.

AfaIk, the Rosetta stone contains a Ptolemic decree which was, to be broadly understood, usually published in all three official languages / writings in Ptolemic Egypt, i.e. Greek and ancient Egyptian in Hieroglyphs and Demotic writing.

As I've found out, the one on the right stands for "aromantic". But the one on the left wasn't included in the list.

Annually (Gt/a) or total (Gt).

Maybe the term you are searching for is "AI voice cloning". The engine of https://elevenlabs.io/voice-cloning claims to be able to understand and reproduce even Danish.

Edit: They seem to require some voice verification to make sure the voice is yours. Which is odd in your case.

https://speechify.com/da should allow to recreate the voice of "your beloved one", at least they mention it on their German page.

What? In German 'w' is [veː] and 'v' is [faʊ].

As the article is denoted as a comment, it is not its aim to be unbiased journalism.

In contrast to usual articles, comments usually elaborate on the opinion of the jounalist.

AfaIk, the dressing is named after some group of islands in one of the great lakes.

I used the golden ratio bad but my design is still. 🤔

AfaIk, posts and comments cannot be exported.

For the rest you may use the "export settings" function in the "personal settings" section on the webpage of your Lemmy instance (yet I don't know what is actually exported).

Alternatively, you may use one of the tools mentioned in this post (the post is in German, the linked webpages are in English): https://slrpnk.net/post/10923543

What's missing in the above article is that the Marburg virus is transmitted through direct close contact with skin or mucous membranes or through contact with body fluids, not via aerosols like Covid 19. The student only had mild influenza like symptoms and no feaver yet. Thus, the other passengers have been informed, but supposedly are not in danger and don't need to quarantine.
All the best for the poor guy and his girlfriend.

Similarly to Nextcloud. If you host an instance and remove preinstalled apps, you are obliged to also remove the Nextcloud branding.

Makes sense. We haven't yet made it since the great plague, I guess, to decrease the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

As a German, when living in Sweden, I was (and still am) very impressed, how widespread the use of (Mobile) Bank ID, beside the use of the personal ID number (As a male German, the state has assigned me at least three different ones without requiring any interaction.) for basically everything, is.

In Germany, before introducing a second electronic way of authentication for online (or phone) banking, it was done by a chosen password and a TAN (transaction number) from a list that you regularly got sent by mail in a special envelope. Later it was replaced by that "thingy", a mobile TAN generator, or push TAN via SMS.

Thanks a lot. A true tragedy.

For completeness, the 'other' company, euroflorist.com offers the same service.

In Germany, there usually are give way signs at the entry points indicating that the vehicles driving in the roundabout have priority. A stop sign is a bit too much, as it's not an especially confusing situation.

There should be a second one in the category mentions.

It was not special from the outside, but from the inside. It was either the envelope or the TAN list that was printed with a special pattern to prevent reading the list by using a flashlight.

Usually, at the heating boiler, there is a junction for a hose with a valve and close by a pressure meter. If the pressure is too low, the janitor (not you) should fill up the heating system with water until the pressure is sufficient. Ideally, the pressure should be checked again after bleeding the radiators.

At least it should not, in many countries must not, be the only measure.
I once encountered an OR in the requirements: Capital letters, small letters and digits OR special characters.

One even can see the end of a concrete tie.

Ah, obviously you're right and bash is less tolerant to spaces than I've had in my mind:

You can declare aliases that will last as long as your shell session by simply typing these into the command line. The syntax looks like this:
alias alias_name="command_to_run"
Note that there is no spacing between between the neighbor elements and the equal sign. This is not optional. Spaces here will break the command.

Not civil but mechanical engineer here. There are some rule of thumb formulas involved during the construction of a gearbox, e.g. the diameter in mm of a shaft at the bearings: cubic root of the torque in Nm. The 'necessary volume' of a gear wheel is another formula involving adventurous math.

Does it say in your service file Wanted By or WantedBy?

For completing your nice explanation, here is the DeepL translation of the section in German Wikipedia on micro accelerometers:

In recent years, miniaturised acceleration sensors have become increasingly important. These are micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and are usually made of silicon. These sensors are spring-mass systems in which the "springs" are silicon bars only a few μm wide and the mass is also made of silicon. Due to the deflection during acceleration, a change in electrical capacitance can be measured between the spring-mounted part and a fixed reference electrode. The entire measuring range corresponds to a capacitance change of approx. 1 pF. The electronics for analysing this small change in capacitance are housed on the same integrated circuit (IC).

There are also variants in which piezoresistive resistors are attached to the bending beam by ion implantation, which change their resistance according to the bending and thus allow conclusions to be drawn about the acceleration.

But then the voltage per LED increases, leading to soon death of another LED, so this is a 'just for the moment' fix.

Ah, yes the LED driver is usually constant current type. I've been thinking too simply and assumed it's constant voltage.

As for learning German understanding these lyrics is essential, I've made a translation for you. ;-)

As far as I understood, @Lazycog@sopuli.xyz was talking about the phonetic alphabet used in the armies of NATO countries, which is standardised by ICAO as Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, ... and is not the everyday phonetic alphabet in each country, e.g. in Germany commonly Anton, Bertha, Cäsar, ... but there are plenty of different versions and variants for each German speaking country.

If we would go back to Latin, it wouldn't be the Latin as spoken by Cicero but some Vulgar Latin, as it is the origin of Romance languages like Italian, with simpler grammar.
