Gonna need some context on the sells information or else you risk being on the Santa Naughty List

They’re in an orbit that works with jupiters current mass. If Jupiter gained enough mass to trigger fusion then I would think that many of them would with fall in or be slung out of orbit.

I’d be interested to see if anybody has done the math though to see how that would all play out.

If the building becomes unlivable it’s an issue. high temps with high humidity can literally lead to heat stroke since no amount of fans will help since you literally can’t cool off even with sweating.

What that fix is, I’m not sure, but some buildings in areas of the south become ovens during heat waves and without AC people will get sick or die.

Yeah. You don’t mess with tree law. Since there’s no guarantee that the trees transported will take and it has to be done again.

The poisoned water way is a new twist on the old I’m an idiot who’s going to pay dearly for my hubris motif.

There’s a psychological stress with work that can take some time to slough off.

Some people don’t want to log out of work and be grumpy or distracted during family time.

That being said having a process or system as a habit to denote work/home is a good alternative.

A 10 minute walk, a change of clothes, or some song you play, anything that creates a mental delineation. So the annoyance from that way too long meeting asking why something isn’t done (4 hours a day giving out status updates isn’t helping) doesn’t come out on the family.

Some areas have basic consumer protection. Such as a habitation must be fit to live in.

Renting out an apartment with 2 feet of water in it all times, or black mold, or no water or front door is often covered by specific legislation and then, if not, then by the consumer protection statutes.

Which may be the approach some lawyers will have to take if this gets bad enough.

“I can live in my apartment except for 5 weeks where I have to go someplace else” is what we may start seeing in future civil actions.

Jeff should just be happy his name isn’t Kirk

Depends on what kind of detector it is but alot of them use small amounts of radiation and a detector that triggers when the number of particles detected drops below some level.

How smoke detectors work

That being the case any particulate large enough to interrupt the particles could cause it to go off.

For example high humidity misty water from a shower wafting over a detector placed over the bathroom door, etc.

Again for anybody working on their own games or who does software. Avoid this like the plague.

Because even the possibility that you implemented somebody else’s proprietary code from memory or inspiration opens up a lot of legal issues.

And while you may win there’s no winners when you or your employer has to pay your side of legal fees. It’s best to just avoid it to make that process easier.

So in JavaScript there’s the assignment

=

and the comparator is

==

Since there’s no types JS will do implicit conversion before comparison when using == in a case like this

if(false == '0'){
    //this is true
}

But with === it doesn’t. It means literally compare these

if(false === '0'){
    //this is false
}else{
    //so this will execute instead
}

But this, however, will

var someState = false;
 if(someState === false){
    //this is true
}

Careful. They might charge you 0.20 for every mouse click on that thing.

C. Since it just wants one and I would think the immediate safety of people involves moving it away and then tending to the patient.

Messing with the weapon, checking whether it’s empty, isn’t necessary and you’d still have to move it anyway

Mom. Thanks for doing this for me.

So yeah, you’re going to open the closet. No, the closet in the hallway. Yeah, that one.

So see the black box on the bottom… the one with wires, like spaghetti? Yes… that’s it.

All the way on the right side there’s two rectangles. I said rectangles…. like squares, yes…

The one all the way to right is a button. You push it in… no, it’s ok, I appreciate you doing this… yes, this would be funny if I were a doctor… no, it won’t break anything. So you just press it…

No no. It’s supposed to make that sound. That means it’s starting up. Yes, it can be loud… but that’s exactly what I needed. Lights? Yep, those are good.

Thanks Mom. That should do it… wait… did I just hear you hit the light switch in the closet?

Can you tell me if there’s lights on the black box… No? And it’s quiet. Yeah… I figured.

Ok Mom, so what I need you to do is turn on the light switch you just hit. Right, that one. Good.

Now… remember that button, yep, the square, I need you to press it again…

That’s why people moved away from global warming and use climate change.

Yes, overall the earth is warming but that destabilization affects the climate making summers hotter, winters colder, storms stronger etc.

Depending on the country/state that could obligate the company to pay for devices if they’re going to require they have them.

Not to mention possible “on call” pay could apply as well.

I wonder if people who make these things (if real) even think of throwing them by HR or some professional who could help them avoid the legal implications of these kinds of things.

“Custom art on request. For example, if somebody wanted me to draw their dog as a super hero I could draw that”

Should cover you. As long they don’t notice that you said if instead of when and could instead of did.

Twist the towel like you’re about to snap somebody with it.

Then curl it around in the shape of a ring at the back of your head and lean back into the hole in the center.

Do it tight enough and it should stay as long as you don’t lean forward. You can always hold it closed when you do though

Besides the sand worms can pick up on the vibrations. It doesn’t need to be loud. Just be a consistent pattern.

So having the thump sound is there for artistic purposes. For the art. In a medium used for art.

Outer Wilds. For a few friends who don’t have it yet. I’ve already bought it a couple times.

I already own it… but it’s just that good. So good I vicariously try to relive the game by watching livestreams and Eelis’ recaps of other live-streamers.

It really is something you have to experience blind. Since the entire game progression is knowledge based and pulling threads on the mysteries until the mosaic of the story and experience unfolds is truly something you can experience once.

Not to mention safety requirements for rapidly escaping a plane in the event of an emergency

Contrails are water vapor

Cloud seeding is something different and usually involves injecting small particulates for water droplets to nucleate on.

Where chemtrails are usually a reference to a particular chemical introduced to disperse into the air (not nucleate with). Often as part of a conspiracy saying all aircraft are taking part in blanketing the skies with whatever chemical agent is the flavor of the week. I’ve heard people say it’s mixed into the fuels, etc.

However, there are very rare instances where a plane (excluding crop dusters) will actually release chemicals via fuel into the air. When a plane has to make an emergency landing (especially right after takeoff) they may actually dump fuel in order to reduce weight and to minimize the explosive/fire hazard from the fuel.

Here’s a video by Captain Joe which covers contrails and fuel dumping

She’s even doing Cameos now after being encouraged to do so and they’re like 25 bucks.

So yeah, she rocks.

Keeping in mind that may mean that somebody like a cellular provider could do so. Since your local network in that context would be them.

Who else loves this new SAAS future we’re living in?

Possibly but I’d think it’s still safer than vehicles and less disruptive to overall migration for a given species.

I wonder if there’s been any studies showing how effective, if at all, these are.

Which are used to calculate stresses for dams, fluid dynamics for planes and ships, capacity and load simulations for power, and to compile and operate servers.

“Running servers costs money and it resources to patch, secure, monitor, etc. and we don’t want to spend those costs on these games after so long”

Why not just be honest and let users know. And have a planned server maintenance expiration date upfront when you release the game. And, if it’s doing well, or if you release a DLC, shift that date.

We get operational costs. Don’t treat consumers like we’re idiotic children.
