Change "random(0)" to "random(time(0))" so the videos are less easily removed by a bot. time(0) is the number of seconds from January 1, 1970 at midnight, so the random seed keeps changing. It's still be black and white noise but not the same noise as anyone else.

Greetings, fellow vacuum enthusiasts and members of r/WellThatSucks! Today, we have an incredible tale to share with you, one that will shed light on the origins of our subreddit and the reason behind our new rule changes. So gather 'round and prepare to embark on a whimsical journey through the story of Mr. Wells.

The Legend of Mr. Wells, the Vacuum Whisperer

Picture this: in a small, picturesque town named Suckville, nestled deep in the heart of a state called Cleanylvania, there lived a man named Mr. Wells. Now, Mr. Wells was no ordinary citizen. He had a knack for selling vacuum cleaners like no one else in the land.

With his charisma, knowledge, and passion for suction power, Mr. Wells was a force to be reckoned with in the vacuum cleaner industry. He could convince even the most skeptical customers that they absolutely needed the latest model of vacuum cleaner to keep their homes pristine. But little did he know that his life was about to take a fateful turn.

The Birth of "Well, That Sucks!"

One fateful day, as Mr. Wells was demonstrating a cutting-edge vacuum cleaner to a potential customer, disaster struck. The vacuum malfunctioned, spewing dust and debris all over the room. Mr. Wells, with a wry smile on his face, muttered the now-legendary phrase, "Well, that sucks!" Little did he realize that this seemingly mundane moment would change his life forever.

Inspired by this comedic mishap, Mr. Wells set out on a quest to create a community where people could share their own vacuum cleaner woes and mishaps. Thus, the subreddit r/WellThatSucks was born. It became a safe haven for people to commiserate, laugh, and find solace in the shared struggles of dealing with vacuum cleaners.

Rule Changes - Embracing Our Roots

With the rich history of Mr. Wells and the origins of r/WellThatSucks in mind, we've decided to make some exciting rule changes that will take our subreddit back to its vacuum-centric roots.

Rule 1: All Posts Must Be About Vacuum Cleaners

Effective immediately, we are refocusing our subreddit exclusively on the topic of vacuum cleaners. From stories of triumph over dirt and dust to unfortunate vacuuming accidents, we want to see and hear it all. Let's transform r/WellThatSucks into the ultimate hub for vacuum cleaner enthusiasts and those who appreciate the trials and tribulations of keeping their spaces clean.

Rule 2: All Comments Must Be "Wellthatsucks"

To pay homage to the iconic phrase that sparked our subreddit's creation, we're introducing a fun twist to our comment section. Starting now, every comment you make on r/WellThatSucks must consist solely of the phrase "Wellthatsucks." Let this phrase be the language that unites us, showcasing our solidarity in the face of vacuum cleaner challenges.

We believe that these rule changes will not only honor the legacy of Mr. Wells but also create a unique and engaging community experience that embraces the humor and frustration inherent in vacuum cleaner mishaps.

Join Us in the Vacuum Cleaner Revolution!

We hope you'll join us on this whimsical journey through the vacuum cleaner-filled world of r/WellThatSucks. Share your stories, photos, videos, and questions about all things vacuum cleaner-related. And remember, whether you're sharing your experiences, offering advice, or simply reacting to a post, the phrase "Wellthatsucks" will be our language of choice.

Which radically shifted the balance in his favor when in court. Virginia is a "duty to retreat" state and having the other guy behind him meant he was surrounded.

They did with the last one. That's why there's so much distrust about it.

He laughed and then tweeted some more source material for them to run with. He's loving this.

  1. it might be illegal.

Sounds like an existential risk to the server to federate with them unless they tighten things up then. @ernest is beholden to both the laws of where his server is hosted and where he lives, which I believe are Germany and Poland. If he violates either, there goes the instance and/or him.

Here it's "barking up the wrong tree"

I am looking for a new instance because my admin is on the fence.

He's working backwards from "I want every country that was east of the wall to be part of Russia". Any flimsy excuse will do, even if it's complete and utter bullshit because those in Russia who call him out on it get arrested at best.

6th grade in the US is for kids that are generally 11-12 years old.

You can change that "225", which is actually 255 in the tweet, to any number smaller than that, but it'll make the noise darker and reduce the randomness of it. The result still has to be between 0 and 255, so you could change it to 12+random(time(0))*243 or something like that if you really wanted to make it no darker than 12.

Lots of fake gore in this so watch at your own risk.

I think it's possible through contempt of court.

Where's OSHA? They should be all over this too!

The best analogy I can think of is a swimming pool.

It used to have people to treat the pool, skim it, add new water to replace the water lost from evaporation, regulate the chemicals, and try to keep people from pissing in the pool. It was cheap and half decent so people still wanted to visit.

Since Elon bought it, he's sacked everyone who performed any upkeep to the pool and he's removed the filters. Now the pool smells terrible, the water has changed color, the water level has dropped substantially, animals are living in it, and the pumps that recirculate water are close to failing entirely. He's also built a tall fence around it and raised the price of admission.

It's a total hellhole to the point that the government is close to taking it away and filling it with soil because it's a health hazard.

They still can be. The state bar has to decide on that.

They built a new elementary school down the road a few years ago. It cost $63 million, so about 700 of those.

The people who work for those who call just doing what you're paid for "quiet quitting" should show them what quiet quitting really is by going to lunch one day and never coming back.

"John Larkin" by John Larkin only has two copies in existence, one by his widow and the other by an unknown person. If that name seems unfamiliar, it's because he later became more famous as Scatman John.

It was recorded in 1986 but due to current US copyright law, it won't enter public domain until December 3, 2069.

There's a few copies floating around on YouTube and a FLAC version as a torrent. Pirates are keeping his legacy as a jazz performer alive.

They're third behind the EU and the German government.

Or any state willing to extradite him to Georgia.

Richmond, Hampton Roads, and Charlottesville contribute as well, but basically if it's not a city or the suburbs of one, it's red as a sunburn.

Facebook/Meta wouln't even moderate out incitements to genocide

This might cause instances to have a legal obligation not to federate with them, as some countries forbid you from supporting places where hate speech exists.

"Wait, we're actually trying to go to Texas?! Fuck this noise, I'm heading back."

Given his means, the terms should have included surrendering his passport and an ankle bracelet.

And then replace it with a Selenium script afterwards.

And within hours, most instances will have preemptively defederated from it.

And never play chess with a pigeon. They'll shit all over the board and then strut around like they won.

Because like Google+, if you have an Instagram account, you now have a Threads account.

So there's little chance they'd even join their savior in prison because he could die in federal prison before ever being sent to a state prison.

Whether a community gets to opt out of being scraped depends on the scraper respecting robots.txt and/or the meta tag of the page.

Not all do, particularly the ones scraping for SEO purposes, so instances might to add IP bans for scrapers that refuse to respect restrictions in those places.

All this will do is make people change which site they go to for their masterbatory needs.

The van Gogh was chosen specifically because it was protected by glass.
