Elizabeth Warren?

But what happens when the door opens?

They don't make much profit off gas, but they do own it. They pay several thousand dollars when the truck comes to fill up the tanks, and they make that money back when they sell it. I've never heard of gas on consignment, or whatever you are talking about

I've been seeing a lot of this lately and I agree, it definitely feels like an astroturf campaign.

Most single issue voters are focused on domestic issues such as abortion or the economy. And you would think that someone who cares so much about Israel would also be worried about other aspects of foreign policy such as Ukraine.

The whole premise is ridiculous. And I think it speaks to Biden's success as a president that this is the best campaign they can come up with.

(maybe)

It wouldn't be unprecedented. We have already had one senator beat another half to death with a rather hefty cane.

I thought it was from when people wore "driving gloves" back in the day

Yes, he harmed the interests of the US government, but he's an Australian Citizen. I don't understand why he would be subject to US laws. Hell, why not try to extradite Putin while they're at it? Makes no fucking sense to me.

Lol. You are welcome to agree with what Trump did. But even if you think ignoring the election and trying to instill himself as dictator is "doing everything right", it's still wildly illegal.

Not as dangerous as Trump. I'll take a policy loss in return for a delivery win.

It added maybe $10/month in the summer for air conditioning.

I live in Alabama, and I found that amusing

Intuitively it doesn't even make sense in this case though. Biden is running as the safe ordinary establishment candidate. Trump and RFK Jr are going for the right wing wacko conspiracy theory crowd.

Unless I see data to the contrary, I'm going to assume that RFK Jr siphons more votes from Trump.

What about Grover Cleveland?

If they are somebody else's tomatoes you need a thieving license.

Typesetting is actually correct. In the days of the printing press, it was not feasible to have type blocks for single punctuation marks. The blocks would be too small and fragile. Punctuation marks were appended to the end of the letter. Instead of having a single block with a period (.) they had a block for each letter of the alphabet with a period. (a.), (b.), etc.

Making blocks for both (",) and (,") was an unnecessary expense, so they went with (,"), and the convention stuck.

But I thought we were "a Republic, not a democracy."

I like that theory, but...

The president does not have the power of judicial review. Therefore President Ford's actions can't be construed as such.

It's doesn't matter if you want to go to court. Your future employer doesn't want to go to court on behalf of a new hire, so they won't hire you in the first place.

Garbage site, and article has nothing to do with headline.

I have heard (and it might be wrong) that cats can eat dog food with no ill effects. They just cannot survive on dog food alone because it does not contain the nutrients necessary for cats.

Eh, after looking it up, I was correct. So I will continue thinking that.

Afaik it hasn't worked out for Alabama (any of the times)

Shitting on the sidewalk should be illegal. I don't think sleeping should be illegal... What are homeless people supposed to do, never go to sleep? That's literally impossible

I don't think they should overdose and die either. I support trying to prevent that from happening.

And I wouldn't say homeless people should necessarily be able to sleep ANYWHERE, but they should be allowed to sleep somewhere.

If they aren't allowed to sleep in public, what are they supposed to do, trespass and sleep on someone's private property? That seems worse to me.

The size of the court has not changed in a long time. Trump only appointed replacements.

Source? A quick Google search indicates this isn't true.

Serious answer from a non fundamentalist Christian: Because the old testament laws were intended for a specific society, to pave the way for Jesus. They were also a mix of religious rules and secular laws. They weren't (all) intended to be universal moral laws that apply to all of humanity.

Using someone else's license plate is a felony I'm pretty sure

Seems like they could just write a different contact for the DoD

When Haley tries to overthrow the government, I'll say she's as bad as Trump. Until that happens, I say Trump is worse.

It's definitely part of the federal government. It has more independence than a department of the executive branch, but it's not quite it's own branch of government either (it has no checks against the actual branches) The idea is that it needs to be run by economists and be somewhat insulated from politics.

Overall, they do a pretty good job, and are one of the more competent parts of the government
