Yup! That happens every time with croissants.

I consider myself well-coordinated, but I've had no such luck with couscous. Especially when transferring from the pot to another container. It decides to stick together, then randomly makes an avalanche as I'm scooping, creating a mess of grains from the countertop to the floor.

Next do lifted pickup trucks please!

David Calhoun apologized to the families of Boeing crash victims, saying the manufacturer was “totally committed” to future saftey improvements, as he began testimony at the committee on Tuesday.

Cue South Park investment banker BP oil spill apology.

Also, "saftey"? Seriously, Independent?

In the blink of an eye, their surplus of hateful anti-Biden merchandise becomes even more useless. This will surely make them realize how idiotic their cult is /s.

Their favorite cheap Chinese manufacturers are already on it, ready to take more of their money.

They should be charged an "inconvenience fee" for each and every person whose data was breached.

The media and its followers fall for this every time!

  • Step 1: accept to debate = promotional articles.
  • Step 2: walk it back, pretend you will back out = 2x promotional articles.
  • Step 3: allow them to simmer and plead for you to re-commit = 3x promotional articles.
  • Step 4: receive praise for re-committing = 4x promotional articles.

Meanwhile, in Biden land:

  • Step 1: accept to debate = get 1/4 the promotional articles orange traitor got, and none of the anticipation.

It's too easy for him. He gets 4x the press without even trying.

The first time the price of a good changes between the time I put it in my cart/basket and checkout, I will be starting a class-action lawsuit against corporate fraud.

I fully intend on letting this fella continue to live on inside the house. I hear they live for years, and take care of little critters.

To infiniweed and this bong!

Taking a break from blasting civilians I see?

My man!

I did need to help it out, you were right, thank you.

With that despicable personality, and a face that looks more and more like a blob fish removed from the ocean depths, this guy proves on a daily basis that money can't buy everything.

Thank you neighbor. You should also know those authoritarian fuckers are doing all that they can to make ballot initiatives illegal or impossible to get through.

Imagine the options we would have if we instead subsidized plant-based alternatives and the research to get us away from meat and dairy. There's no reason for continuing the cruelty and wasting natural resources like we do when we know better.

You can still threaten to cancel. It will be even more effective when the power of cancelling is in your hands instead of theirs, and as easy as one click. Not sure if you were being sarcastic.

You don't think there's a chance that working 4 days instead of 5 reduces the physical toll to keep you going longer and working better? Wouldn't working 4 days a week reduce your stress, allow you to recover from all that heavy lifting you mentioned, and improve your physical and mental health on the long-run?

Besides, as I understand it, if your company still wants you to work 5 days, you would still have the option. This bill would require them to pay you overtime for that extra day.

I am still struggling to understand it. It seems a company can defy laws that are broad, within reason, if they were not explicitly named in the law? Chevron deference (Cornell Law)

Sounds to me like it gives power to corporations to be exempt from regulations. Is that the gist of it?

I'm an immigrant and US citizen that's lived here for 28 years. These people (republicans) have done nothing but demonize people like me for as long as I can remember, and it's getting more and more hateful every year. We are just people who want to live peacefully and give back through our hard work. We came here thinking that this was a multi-cultural and freedom-loving nation. Instead we are constantly reminded of the hateful hypocrisy in many Americans whose family immigrated here not long before us.

No, they need to be careful. I keep a personal database of companies that raise prices and have poor customer service.
