Linux & FOSS Enthusiast. My cultural touch points are 90s-00s sci-fi references and Mean Girls.

This episode aired 23 years ago.

...yet.

The group used "sophisticated computer scripts" and software to scour piracy services... for illegal copies of TV episodes, which they then downloaded and hosted on Jetflicks’ servers.

So they used some variant of Sick Beard?

As long as shrink stays below what they save by removing cashiers they will stay. It may be location specific removals at high shrink stores.

I moved to LMDE 6 when it came out, moving over from regular Mint. It's so nice and boring... Which is exactly how I like my computer to be.

Why not Zoidberg?

This is what shower thoughts should be! Thank you!

This reminds me of the temperature of lights that my backyard neighbors have. Everyone is entitled to their own preferences when it comes to light bulb temperature... until they do it wrong.

Always was.

The real question remains, can you flip it upside down for an episode like in the first season?

I've seen it as an easier to type version of the "therefore" symbol which is three dots in a triangle ∴

The symbol is used in math and logic. Try reading the word "therefore" in place of the symbol and see if it makes sense in context.

I could not care less. I'm happy in my little federated corner of the internet.

Presently, on meet.jit.si, only the moderator needs to be logged in. Everyone else can just join the meeting with no need to log in.

But that's just the one that Jitsi runs. The Guardian Project has a Jitsi Monitor that can point you to some other Jitsi instances.

Not unlike Lemmy. If you don't like the way things are run on one server, check a different one.

They've never had a problem saying the quiet part out loud.

FlorisBoard is great! It's not had a release in about year but that doesn't mean it's not under active development. The developer is currently working on the Natural Language Processing component.

I would love a Jon Stewart PBS tote bag.

Why not come join us now?

I assembled a HeaterMeter for my Kamado style charcoal grill/smoker... It's built on top of OpenWRT.

Do it! What do you need, like $30,000-35,000 from each of us? Let's get this bread!

The last release was in 2002. It's not limited to Gen X. As an older millennial, I leaned Lotus 1-2-3 and Lotus Word Pro before I was introduced to Microsoft's Suite.

Joke's on you, I'm into that shit.

Voter Suppression.

I don't want AI sound removal. Give me a feature that is useful like a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone.

Vi is standardized in both POSIX and Single Unix Specification.

What part of the world are you in? What industry? Maybe the Fediverse can hook you up?

I switched with Bookworm. It's great!

I'm holding on to my Pixel 4a until it dies because of this.

We saw this with the last reboot, like the "Earth Certificate" episode. They are writing using then-current references, but because the normal time to produce an episode is so long, the references feel stale. South Park was king of topical references because their production turnaround was 6 days. They were able to put out a Michael Jackson episode the week after he passed. That said, I don't want a Futurama episode that they only worked on for 6 days.

This totally works. If you make a mess... You didn't tap it enough. /s

Give Liftoff a look!

I worked with a woman who'd just gotten off meth. She swore that she got sick more often while clean because... meth was made out of cold medicine.

My lump charcoal smoker.

What part of the country are you in? You mention being in an at-will state, so I assume the US. Maybe the Lemmyverse can help you find a job?

Maybe they should take a name from the Bible for their haven. Maybe Gilead?

I hate motion smoothing.

TheTVDB has the episodes ordered five different ways: Aired Order, DVD Volumes, Absolute Order, Streaming Order, and Production Order. Your link is for the order in which it was aired.

Maybe you want the DVD Volume order? https://thetvdb.com/series/futurama/seasons/dvd/2
