That is a stupid question

It is time to rename the company. OpenAI is not open anymore, and has not been for a while now.

I love flavours of weird.

Another option to decrease spending is to increase taxes. That would of cause target the rich more, whereas increasing the interest rates is usually a benefit for the rich and hurts everyone else.

No wonder why increasing taxes instead of interest rates are never discussed to tackle inflation.

This is not a diagnosis test. You do not have ADHD just because this described you. However if you have ADHD there is a high likelihood that this describes you.

I believe that is very very far from true. Do you have any source on that?

Some ukranians are neo-nazis, also some in the military. Just like in Russia.

This is showerthoughts, not stonerthoughts.

You fight much bigger problems that others around you. Your way of thinking is definitely not normal, seek diagnosis and help. Life is not supposed to be this complicated mentally.

It could be some specific Russian individuals fault. Someone who is deemed extraordinarily stupid - not representive of Russians at all - who gets to carry all the blame.

Sure. But that does not make it unethical.

And when your are done, you get to sleep in one for free.

Did you see the report? Quite a lot of rockets fired from Gaza fails and hit somewhere in Gaza.

The mental health institution helps by taking you out of your everyday problems. They provide a safe simple environment, where all you have to focus on is yourself and your mental health.

In a way it is putting all the problems outside of yourself on pause, so you can focus on your mental health.

Just to add to your answer. This effect of mic beeing grounded when plugging TRRS into TRS jack is by design, to allow compatibility.

We (Denmark) are donating more than half of the F-16 we got. It severely disables our air force, I sure hope they will make quite a difference.

If you can look at the source code it is open source.

Mycroft is the closest thing I can think off.

That is not true. If a pedestrian is waiting in front of a zebra crossing, the cars have to stop.

It has been really complicated to teach our kids. Yes kids, the cars have to stop when you wait. No they usually do not actually stop, unless you look like you are going to walk out in front of them. No you don't walk out in front of them, that would be dangerous. Yes, you have to look like you are going to walk out in front of them, without actually doing it, unless you clearly see they are going to stop. And yes, you still have to be ready to jump back in case they don't actually stop, but just look like it.

Above is the reality. What it should be like: Kids, you stop and wait at a zebra crossing, then the cars stop on both sides, and then you cross.

I know they don't know this consciously because of their behaviour. If we suppose they were intelligent enough to understand their predicament, I would expect them to protest in some way. For example by breaking out of their captivitity, trying to kill their captors, or even commit suicide.

This is not the behaviour we observe from cows. They seem perfectly happy to bond with and follow along their captors (farmers) right up to the point where they get a bolt through their head.

This - to me - clearly indicates that they are far below an intelligence level where they can understand the living conditions we put them in.

Raise healthy, emphatic and intelligent kids.

If I manage that, everything else can go to hell, and I would still be happy and content in life.

Oh, there is no doubt Russia is much worse in the fascist regard. What I mean is we are beeing ignorant if we turn a blind to neo-Nazism also beeing a problem in Ukraine.

Especially when we are considering Ukraine joining NATO in the future. We need them to get rid of those parts of the military first.

That cinema would probably be off that small island, on some mainland, thus the 3 hours of travel needed.

It really whips the llama's ass.

I was thinking yay that sounds like an awesome data visualization platform, that would be great. Until I got to the "just kidding" part.

You are right, all this information is readily available. And we would be really naive if we think that no one is collecting this yet.

You, or someone else, should build this, such that it is clearly visible for everyone what data is available. And not just visible to the select few who builds their own closed data mining systems.

I have an app where I register when I take my meds, and which meds.

I make sure to absolutely always tap the app while taking the meds. No taking meds and then going to find the phone, or tapping the app and then take the meds. Always do it simoultaniously.

With that rule in place, I know that I can 100% trust the app in telling me if I have taken them or not.

This works really great for me.

Exactly. It is the intent behind the content. Full nudity does not equal porn. Covered sexual organs does not mean it is not porn.

At the point where it consciously knows that we breed and slaughter them for meat. That would be my red line. I don't know what IQ that equals to.

Not murder, per definition.

The transformation will be subtle and steady. The hype will burst and crash.

Not just AI tools. They outsource captcha solving to cheap human labour.

Yes, you are right. But no way in hell am I going to pay for my own coffin.

Thanks for posting this, it was a very interesting read.

I supriced me that the author could not compile the kernel with current GCC toolchains. I thought backwards compatability was king in the world of C.

Of cause you did Tom.

What he means is, your security considerations here must come from some perceived threat. What kind of threat do you forsee that requires this high level of security?

Usually when you consider security you start with a threat model, describing the scenarios you want to protect your systems from. And based on that you decide the necessary technical security measures that are relevant.

It is not a competition. But your claim that normal working people was not hurt by the dotcom bubble can not be dismissed.

Several countries have this, across device types. It works great.

We get it
