Recently started using Bitwarden and it works really well. You can even ditch authenticator because it has OTP built in too.
I selfhost it though because I trust nobody with this type of sensitive data, encrypted or not.

I used to be able to differentiate car brands in the blink of an eye, each brand had pretty distinct features. Nowadays it's a pretty boring blend, apart from a few luxury brands perhaps.

I just did the opposite. Ditched windows which I only used for gaming. The amount of games working in Linux now is amazing, I play a lot of sims and even stuff like headtrackers and steering wheels just work. Sure it's not perfect and working for everybody but its getting really good really fast.
Games that do not work at all on Linux like Fortnite for example, I just ignore.
Also no way to block people that are not on your contact list. I get a lot of spam lately by scammers and the likes.

Instead of focussing on getting the core of the game finished and THEN expanding it they do it the other way around.
For example the mining loop now is broken again, people bought mining ships and vehicles with $$ and they are completely unusable. Not to mention all the bugs and instability. I hope they succeed but right now things are not pointing to something enjoyable within the foreseeable future at all.

Well there are two stories going around, the story where the Israeli's are the victim ofcourse getting a lot more attention. The story where the Israeli's tear down Palestinian flags and beat up an Arab taxi driver not so much.

Telegram never or rarely cooperates with authorities in investigations into terrorism, child abuse, drug trafficking, weapons marketplaces, etc. This is probably the main reason they arrested the guy.

Bluesky can fuck right off as well. I tried it to see if it was any different than Twitter but I had to nope out after 10 minutes.
I've never understood the whole Twitter formula anyways. Scroll through endless ramblings of people I don't care about? No thanks.
There are far better places to stay informed about certain topics or get in touch with people you know.
I really appreciate the work and time the volunteer devs put in, but everytime I try KDE I have to give up because of some workflow breaking bug. Window rules disappearing into thin air, context menu's not rendering properly, power management not consistent, widget search freezing, random crashes. the list goes on. This has been the case with every major KDE release I tried and yes I have reported my fair share of bugs but it seems the priority lies with adding new features instead of fixing old ones which is a shame imo.

Technically yes if my vault gets compromised I would be fucked. I have it firewalled tho and only accessible from home (or VPN to home). So should be pretty secure. I used google authenticator but found it a major pita (can't even search entries on Android, wtf?). If they make this more user friendly I'll gladly switch back to a seperate OTP store.
Weird table. I use Foot which is pretty fucking fast and does everything I need except panes so I might check this one out.
I'm in a love hate relationship with vscode. Used Neovim for a year or two but got fed up of debugging plugin problems after updates. Currently giving vscode a go again but it somehow feels dirty lol. It seems to get better though and it is very popular. Like others have said, if you want something really polished Jetbrains is very good.
I need a day or two to adjust. Doesn't matter if the clock goes forward or backwards.
They probably still have usernames, phone numbers and access logs with IP adresses even though the chats are encrypted.

Because I have seen 10 posts about how Bluesky is the new Twitter on my Lemmy feed in two days. I overreacted a bit, but what you say goes both ways. Absolutely use what you like but there is no need to spam a new platform like that.
