Mist is best, skip the rest

BRUH

That is a good answer, thanks.

"Experts say" does not mean that they are experts in the field they are talking about, it also doesn't mean that any research has been done. It just means that they said it, it might even have been a joke.

Best promotion this sub could ever ask for, thanks.

I'm starting to think you are autistic as well as dense. You sound like a broken record, trying so hard to get me to answer a "question" which isn't one at all. Very tiring. Bye.

That's fine.

See any issue with your idea that you should let "what people tell you" override your own intelligence? Must not have too much of it if you are in favor of that.

I do enjoy the irony of you telling me to "think about it", while you like to simply parrot third-party statements instead of thinking about anything.

"Disagreeing with me makes you a bad person" non-argument.

Lol the "experts". I'm sure you've never even heard of the "expert" who started this whole thing in the first place, John Money. A really nice man who only had the best of intentions. I dare you to look him up.

Look him up, that will answer your question. Or are you scared?

Of course you are. That's why you like to defend the ideas of a literal pedophile, who made two people commit suicide because of what he did. And FEELING MORALLY SUPERIOR for it!!! ROFL. Get out of here, ignorant dumbass.

The case in point here is a photo. I have no idea about their genitals, nor what they "identify as". I see a woman, clear as day. I'm not talking to them, so "what they want me to call them" is not an issue.

I can't, I was banned by the fascists for saying trans men are men. So I had to come here unfortunately.

I wonder why she was surprised by that ... ?

No, when it comes to "trans women". Someone needing to have "information" to know someones gender is the whole point. They're trying to say you have to ignore your own eyes and intelligence and believe some made up story instead.

Lol luckily you're not being defensive about some totally trivial thing.

This is what liberals actually believe

So you're saying that liberals can't avoid thinking in absolutes? Which means I just have to accept that discussions with them are impossible? I know there are exceptions though, you already seem to be better than most.

I do not want a safe haven, I want a place where things can be discussed freely. But what is your answer to my question? Why do you or why do liberals come here if it is not about the politics?

What is a right? We are talking about opinions vs. facts. Yes, it is your opinion that people have the right to do or have something or not.

You don't seem to realize that this kind of behaviour only makes it worse. Every time something like this happens, I hate the whole thing a little bit more. And that goes for a lot of people, not just me. Do with that what you like.

You're right, I'm totally a liberal now. You guys converted me. Thanks so much.

I don't really have a definition for that, it's a liberal term I think. I think people just have to be civil and not jerks, that's the basic rule. But if people are going to be sensitive to certain opinions and standpoints, those people are going to want to say that those standpoints are "hate speech". That is the whole problem.

That is helpful, thanks. Any alternatives? If it was just about the political stance you could say Twitter, but it doesn't have the structure which Reddit has. You mostly follow people which makes the content sort of random, and mostly about politics in my experience. I like having groups which are about specific topics, like subreddits are.

Doesn't matter, even IF that were true, it still doesn't make it "hate speech".

Dude your whole way of reacting shows exactly what I hate, and want to get away from. You are not even responding to what I said, instead you start going into the trans debate itself because you want to assert your stance so much.

I don't need a community to be "politically aligned" with me, I want it to be neutral. But the problem is, it seems like that is not possible. Because when I say "you should be able to say anything, as long as you're civil" that would already be considered a political stance. Because libs are going to say that that would be "allowing hate speech".

True I have yet to see Lemmy being any better. Although it's good to see that even libtards are fleeing from Reddit.

Yes, that would be civil. It's just an opinion. It is not attacking or name calling.

But let me ask you this: if you agree with all this, why did you come here then? Reddit would be great for you then, no?

15 more...

I know exactly why it is and I simply don't agree.

1 more...

That does not make sense, at all.

In theory that would go for subreddits as well. But that's not the whole story. I got suspended from ALL of Reddit because of "hate speech". Not just the subreddit. I think it might be because users reported the comment, but I'm not sure.
