Did you just put "repairable" and "Apple" in the same sentence?

Somebody help! I think I've time traveled into year 2016.

Veritasium. Over time I realized his content is mostly about flashy half baked "sciencey" content like Discovery Channel. It's meant to get an audience and nothing more. It lacks quality control, and fact checking. I only realized how many errors his videos have when he covered a topic I know more about. Also, the whole electricity thing and self driving car debacle only reinforced my views on his content.

What are those very good reasons? I really don't know.

Luckily, I just read comments from fellow lemmings. Thanks to them, I knew the headlines were a blatant lie.

Please watch the video, it's worth it over all the dumb shit we spend time on online. Tech Jesus was able to get the attention of the highest level of management responsible for customer service and got them to make (12) tangible commitments to their customers who were screwed by ASUS.

He did it very professionally and in an effective way, and constantly maintained the goal of the discussion (which you can tell is not to make inflammatory and accusatory content that will get clicks, but to get his viewers proper support and refunds from ASUS).

I've never seen a YouTube channel go to this length to actually take an action against a company for a specific issue in the interest of the consumers and get results (as opposed to just making videos to bring awareness).

Let's leave accurate military reporting to outlets specializing on military and aviation.

In 2024 life is hard and you can't do anything about it in most cases. Religion gives you an excuse for why it must be so, so that you can keep grinding away.

This actually does keep prices in check. Albeit, a bit backasswardsly.

I may be off on the specifics but it's something like: Having to offer 100mbps at the lowest rates in (poor neighborhoods) increases the speeds of each tier while keeping the price the same.

Sorry about that. I shouldn't have had Taco Bell before getting in.

^ This comment has got to be trolling.

You need electricity? Just buy your own generator.
Need water? Just dig a well...
Need oxygen? Well...

I guess DNC Chairman gonna DNC Chairman. Maybe they need to relearn their lesson from 2016.

The article didn't bother to link the paper. Also odd way to put it to say it "increases signature". Like, have they found a way to throw radar reflecting goo on the F-22?

No, this is essentially about networked radars. Which would be interesting if they bothered to discuss the tech. I suppose I'll wait for Sandboxx News to cover it.

That's actually a good point. Thank you. We don't need this rage bait shit.

Sry out of the loop. What happened to the Death Santis guy?

This is getting out of hand. What's next? We're gonna name and shame individual cows?

Downvoting for misleading title. There is no "millions of gallons" leaked. Amount is currently unknown. "Could have" wording is an excuse for the headline.

You're thinking with capitalism of the yesteryear.

Can't say I dislike it

This is why you don't buy in to subscriptions for every little thing.

Calculator about HDMI and displayport bandwidth that might help: https://linustechtips.com/topic/729232-guide-to-display-cables-adapters-v2/?section=calc&mode=maxfreq&H=3840&V=2160&F=120&bpc=10&compression=dsc2.5x&calculations=show

As you go up in complexity like 4k and 4:4:4 HDR, you will have to pay more attention to HDMI bandwidth and cable length limits.

Look for "certified" premium or high speed cables.

Obviously a stunt.

I like it inside, where you loop it through the tube.

The video fails to explain what about this is "AI" as opposed to active noise cancelling with some regular old signal processing.

Hillary trying hard to hand Trump the win again, this time without even running.

How does one "move" to a different instance? Or do I have to make a new account and start over?

Ironically, I didn't read this. But, I think the premise is dubious in that text is only a medium. Hell, text itself can range from tabloid articles to research papers.
How is "reading" any different from "watching", or "listening"? It's all about quality of the material, not how to consume the media.

Thanks for the link. The article is a whole lot of nothingburger. The entire premise of the article is that Kaspersky works as intended (just as any other security software) to flag files with certain phrases. Therefore, it can be used to find classified markings. Therefore, Kaspersky is bad... What?

So we should just ban all security software?

Why is it so hard to find a single piece of evidence that Kaspersky fucked up, or that their software has something in particular that is more risky compared to other security software. Anyone with more knowledge can explain plz?

Sounds like there is some other motive for doing this. Or they found something they aren't willing to tell us. But why?
