I did all of the development for Sync myself. It blows my mind the mobile team is around ~200 people and ~70 on Android.

Just pushed beta 25 that adds a one time option.

I had users complain to me about the same issue. It's likely as it's rated 18 and you haven't age verified your account.

Ha it's taken a while to get the pre registration setup for a new dev account. Emails will be going out to everyone that signed up previously.

Sync for Lemmy but it's a bit basic right now

I'll be directing all of my users in Sync to lemmy.world tomorrow.

I'd prefer a more generalised multi community approach.

Being able to merge various android communities server side would be great.

After my flip 3 broke not so positive.

Modlog, reports and notifications are next up on my todo.

Just finishing up prepping the app for translations. Should be ready with Spanish and German within the next few days!

If there are any mods here that would like any new specific mod features please let me know. I'd like to add the functionality of toolbox over the next few weeks.

So this is a feature I enabled in Sync by default but you can disable it here:

Settings shortcut: General > Show a reminder to update when available

They never made it available to 3P apps. I always figured they bought a chat system off the shelf just to say they had it.

I very much enjoyed ripping out all of the award code in Sync for Lemmy.

We've been using it for sync development for the last few years.

When there's enough to release of course they'll be changelog and posts etc too.
