His politics and actions in while power have been particularly spiteful towards people not on ‘his side’ or of his ‘station’, despite the fact that we’re supposed to be the United States of America. He hasn’t done a lot to garner good will from me.

I’ve now tried out Memmy, Mlem, and typing this from a recently downloaded Thunder. So far, I’m Digging Mlem since it’s been the closet to Apollo in terms of look and navigation with it’s intuitive use of swiping. Heard Artemis will be integrating something similar so looking forward to trying that as well. I do prefer Memmy’s response options over Mlem’s though. Their text formatting seems more developed.

I’m liking it! Scratches the same itch that Reddit did. Content doesn’t roll in as quickly from my subscriptions as it did on Reddit but I guess I’m into some niche-ish things and it’ll pick up steam eventually(?).
I’ve been a Apple MBP owner since 2008 and a Mac user as far back as I can remember. The argument that macs can’t game always ticked me off because if you had any of the pro models (e.g. a dedicated gpu), from a hardware perspective this demonstrably wasn’t true. Install boot camp and a copy of windows and games ran without barrier. It’s just that most developers didn’t produce games to run natively on Mac so therefore gamers didn’t buy macs. Ergo “can’t”game on a Mac.

I think in essence, streaming is ok. I don’t mind paying for content. Having to pay for content and watch ads though? That there’s some BS.
