Like that xkcd someone else replied with, what you're used to is less scary. Person you're replying to is prob used to harsher hurricanes.

We're only looking at profiles of people who did comment on a post. So we wouldn't look at many lurk only ppl.

My method:

Click on profile > check most recent comment/post

If it was 10 months ago, I highly doubt they're still active

Stroke hut is underrated

Might be an internet speed thing? Could just be loading while it's blank.

On the flipside, something most developed countries consider normal but would blow Japanese minds is the ability to do all "paperwork" on your phone or laptop without any paper ever being printed anywhere. Japan is somehow still a country of fax.

It's actually a bit better because you can be doing other stuff rather than wait in a line in a physical DMV.

It's even called tower of Hanoi because of the Vietnam war flashbacks.

I don't think go pros are rated for the temperatures reached during takeoff and in space. Also the forces of takeoff and air pressure might cause issues too.

The duct tape will be fine tho.

It's not annoying when they can't do it. It's aggravating when they refuse to learn to do it and just want you to do the whole thing for them every single time.

That's a logical fallacy.

Does not mean

If porn -> exists

From a legal perspective, nvidia has been illegally bypassing a software license by exploiting a loophole. Linux devs fixed the loophole.

I don't see why I would be annoyed at Linux devs in these circumstances.

I've got bad news for you, what you consider a few years ago is two entire decades.

The 3 series is the best at this.

The first game in the series is Mass Effect 3, which is followed by Witcher 3 and the sequel to that is Baldur's Gate 3.

TLDR; remember how you liked putting site:reddit.com at the end of searches for specific product recommendations because it seemed like the last place left on the internet where you can get recommendations which weren't blatant ads? Well fuck you, we gonna use the question context when choosing ads.

Example: Looking for headphone recs and go to a reddit post? You're gonna see a headphone ad.

Most yt comments are mildly infuriating and bring nothing to the table.

Just a $1.5 million fine to the whole company instead of imprisoning everyone who knew for decades and ignored the problem, poisoning every single animal on earth.

Because it is legal in the US to bribe politicians and this company has a lot of money

Yeah, how is this not illegal? This seems really dangerous in the event of a crash.

DeSantis is the only one of them who signed a bill like this. Both of them are better than DeSantis because they've never signed a bill this evil.

A lot of banks have bootcamps where they pick up unemployed people who might not have ever had tech experience in their life. They teach them COBOL and mainframe basics in a few months, and, if they do well, give them a shitty $60k annual job.

Source: know someone who went to one of these bootcamps and now works for a major us bank.
