Although I think duckduckgo did a better job, I still don't understand what is infuriating about this one. Google Search just wants to priorize showing you an excerpt from what you are looking for in case you are looking for a definition.

I'm guessing you're using opencart cuz I've been working with an old codebase for around a year and I would love if any code analysis or intelisense actually worked... on xml files... with php in them... with javascript in php variables... with calls to php inside xml files...

Kdenlive is great, I've been editing a lot of my videos on there and some shorts on YouTube. It's got a pretty unappealing UI but one you get to know and figure out where everything is you can get some content out :)

I agree so much, I got my own vpn on a private vps just to I can make sure there is no logging happening, so that I can live happy knowing that my data isn't being sold and my webteam workmates were like "What? Why? Have you got anything to hide?". No I don't I just don't want anything to listen in hugh...

I used Void with xfce for a year and I feel like it was the best "new" distro I've ever had my hands on. It was clean, efficient and I loved initd and xbps.

Can confirm, sudo apt install firefox added a new star

I second this, I use syncthing for phone camera to pc and laptop and have never had a problem. It's almost instant too, it's kinda nuts that it doesn't even need Internet to connect between devices. I a world where everything needs an account, and tracking, syncthing is a simple grace I take for granted

me with my yubikey

When you type in www.example.com, you request the IP of the server for that site using a DNS server. The DNS server sends you the IP and then you connect to it. If they are using https for DNS it means that your ISP or onlookers have to reverse which domain you're accessing from that IP to know that you're accessing www.example.com.

At least I think that's what is happening.

EasyAntiCheat is the biggest problem on Linux, I have to boot to my windows install just to play The Finals and Hell Let Loose... It's such a shame cuz I think the developers can enable a setting to let it run on Linux but then that would mean they would actually have to support players who are playing on Linux and that's too much work for big corpos

That's sick, I didn't know that the jak and daxter seriers had their own language and engine to make the game. It's amazing to see an open source reverse engineer of this that ports the game into a fully native game.

I agree, the tight deadlines make them copy paste and progressively increase the assets size without any eventual cut down on unused code or assets.

I can actually confirm this a little, when Elden Ring came out, it ran really poorly on Windows so rebooted to my Linux os and was getting a solid 15-25 more fps. It even made one of my friends install Linux just to get the performance boost.

I went through on gimp just blurring every name 😅

True, it is not worth the risk. But if this person is not in a country where you can easily get a jig legally then they can at least try the foil method.

Colourblind people can't pass this test

Void Linux was my daily driver for around a year and it was fast, really fast, and had a lot of tinkerability. I highly recommend it.

Thanks, a previous reply hinted at this as well and it worked. It's a shame it doesn't sync, I used discord and other apps and they all sync properly. I edited my post accordingly.

I also recommend forgejo, I've been using it for a while for my personal projects and the ui is still beautiful while being a simple git server at the same time.

I counter this, I have a V1 and have only used the foil DYI method and it works flawlessly every time I needed to do it again.

Omg it wasn't like this a while ago, I can't belive it! I'm going to reinstall it to play as soon as I can. Needing to reboot to windows just to play is the reason why I play Battlefield 1 a lot more. Thanks :)

Thought I wouldn't find another tm player in here

Clearing my notifications on GNOME actually worked? You're right, it doesn't sync to the notification center.

If you're on Android, you can use Aliucord with the UITH plugin

Thanks for sharing, it looks like a good desktop wallpaper

Best reply in the thread, thanks for the good explanation

Oops, you're right, I read as the opposite!

Great game either way, my wife played it and after completing spent the rest of the day depressed :)

I've been playing league on the steam deck using lutris for over a year now, it was literally a 1 click install!
