That's what peak efficiency looks like haters.

The price ain't the wtf part

Yeah, I don't know any of my passwords but the one password to rule them all.

How you gonna take 3 weeks vacation when an iteration is 2?! And how you gonna expect any dev to do anything without a daily stand up???? You need to be more AGILE dude

Yes, contradicting the claim that it's "more objective".

We need to tax the fuck out of the dIsRupTIve vultures called venture capitalists. The only disruption they cause is offering an existing service with extra little value returned to society and workers until the competition is dead. Then prices are raised and society gets squeezed a second time. It's fucking disgusting. The raised tax on these fuckers can then be used for public transport, amongst other things.

So, no, we don't get public transport from banning Uber doing this. But Uber wouldn't do this (or exist) if the investors of this shit company would pay their fair share and if Uber had to follow proper labor laws.

Very big brain moment aktschualluy. The AI will start maintaining all the dropped projects! Right?!

Lol Jesus would hate that, remember when he went to the Pharisees and went like

You guys fucking slay, LOVE IT

There's a bunch of electric garbage trucks in my city. My kid is obsessed with any heavy machinery these days so we were watching one and I got to talking to the driver. He told me that he absolutely loves them. They are easy to operate, they accelerate fast, they seem to break down less.
I have seen them accelerate, they go hard. And it's just so fucking cool to have a big dump truck be silent?! I cannot get over how happy it makes me that they're just chilling silently when they're stopped. Makes my mornings more peaceful.

Funnily, or sadly enough, OneDrive integration is one of the things I miss from my windows days. It's just extremely convenient how it's integrated into explorer and office. And how well the smart/ on-demand sync works. I can't find a setup to replicate this on Linux.

That being said I don't intend to go back and this move is insane.

Google has a deal with reddit as well. https://www.reuters.com/technology/reddit-ai-content-licensing-deal-with-google-sources-say-2024-02-22/?utm_source=reddit.com

But I don't think it's just an issue with the dataset. It's the false promise of these LLMs having a fucking clue what a good search result is and what is not. They don't. They are just good at creating text that sounds plausible. That's not what searching for factually correct information is about though.

Why does this sound like a good idea somehow?

When the girls start to strut
You could look at their butt
You shouldn't do that

You mean the worse they treat them the greater the greatness, right? Like Sparta, right bro?

Your last statement stands out to me. Have you considered that it's the way you interact with whoever you're interested in? Rather than your looks? Are you nervous, self-conscious, whatever? I'm asking because you keep insisting that your interested in individuals out of your league. That thought would make me nervous. And on the flip side self-consciousness or awkwardness or nervousness or whatever is not very attractive. Socially it's more acceptable to rejected someone based on looks though.

Nah, a Chromecast with Google TV is a super cheap and reliable way to sail the high seas. Stremio, VPN, some kind of debrid service. Works better than any legal streaming service my friend told me. Not that I would ever try to hurt the poor studios.

Fair point but Linux is inherently safe either? The local library here has client PCs running Ubuntu 16.04 lts.. my point being that IT infrastructure is only ever as secure as the amount of continuous effort you put into securing it. Linux doesn't solve that.

It's literally in the last paragraph of the summary. You didn't even have to click the article. The EU can fine up to 6% of the global revenue.

Doubtful they can do that at the same altitudes as a helicopter though

Mx Ergo, best of both worlds

Looks really cool but also seems like something I would get into procrastinating my actual to-dos

Just use NeXtCloUD

The reality is that there is no real alternative to the office suite including outlook. That is a real problem but just using Linux is not the answer.

You must be CEO of your own ignorance

Made me stop bringing it. I wear my keys on a Climbing Carabiner and if it sits right it is perfect. But fuck off if it doesn't, it's pure anger in metal usb stick form.

YOLO πŸš€πŸ™ˆ

Well you're getting transparent aluminium, what are you complaining about?!

But it arguably lacks the physical response of a button. When in doubt you still have to look at the screen. If it has some kind of haptic feedback it might be the same.

Most of the drivers of these are also waste collectors. He told me he appreciates that it's less hassle to operate. No gear shifting, no noise, good acceleration, they feel more nimble.
I suppose range and accessible of charging ports in particular would be a concern for a long haul drivers but that's not an issue if you have a relatively (range wise) tour through the city, and get back to and central hub every day.

Wondering the same here. I work in an extremely regulated industry as well. We have MS as a strategic partner but haven't even deployed win 11 yet.
That said we have a deal to use co-pilot and also chatGPT. Both in a unique version that is compliant with company policies. Co-pilot integration into teams is not quite recall level but similar, think video transcripts, meeting and chat summaries, etc. I have no clue how this works practically but I assume there are some strict contracts regarding training data and data usage in place.

How do you like it better than chat gpt? Isn't it the same thing?

Holy fuck I'm jealous

The one with Google tv is an excellent ship for sailing the Black Sea. Get yourself a vpn, streamio, and realdebrid, and you're set. Not that I would know

Yes, but I can't get the virtual file system/on-demand sync to work properly. It turn off every time I reboot. I gave up after a while since it's experimental for now anyway.

It's such a slippery slope I think. Yes, we all have to change our behaviour. But what does it help if I do it when the market is not regulated in a way that discourages climate damaging behaviour?
It's like, yeah, I can boycott NestlΓ©, and I do, but in the end they will push as far as legislation will let them. So my boycott is essentially meaningless beyond feeling good about myself. And it's potentially even harmful in the sense that it shifts the responsibility for change unto the individual.

It's your prerogative to find them insufferable is what I meant to say. Your criticism and opinions are fair enough.
