And so the piece of shit continues to be a piece of shit. Though there is an irony in Trump mocking the ineffectiveness of a wall.

So do you think that shipping companies should charge fees to both sender and recipient? Because that's the physical equivalent of this situation.

I pay my ISP to deliver data to me at an agreed rate. The data being streamed from the bandwidth heavy sources has been paid for... By me. It would be wrong for my ISP to then go and charge them for the bandwidth that I'm using, much in the same way it would be wrong for a company to both charge the sender and receiver of a package just because that package is heavier than normal.

And many of the CDN agreements that bandwidth heavy content providers sign with ISPs have favourable terms specifically because those ISPs recognise that having good access to that content is exactly what their customers are paying for... At least the ones not completely blinded by greed do.

So much of this is fucked up beyond belief.

Being to told to "sleep off" her water breaking is just horrific. I'd expect anyone with even the most rudimentary understanding of pregnancy to know that her water breaking means that birth is only hours away at the most, she can't just hold it in for two days.

Maybe it's how long it's been in development, maybe it's how many times that they've changed direction, or maybe it's just that Ubisoft just put so much garbage in their games, but I predict that this game is going to be a trainwreck.

I was intrigued when they first announced it, but now I'm just so fucking sick of Ubisoft and their bullshit that I'm now just curious to see just how much of a mess it turns out to be.

How does the atrocities of Hamas relate to the murder of a Palestinian shepherd?

If the government has even the smallest modicum of dignity, he'll resign or be sacked. It's one thing to enjoy crass and offensive jokes, I certainly do, but there's a time and a place for such humour. I mean he's the Home Secretary for fucks sake! How in the world did he think that that kind of joke would go down well?

I've seen first hand the aftermath of someone's drink being spiked... It's not something I ever want to deal with again. Though I'll bet it was far worse for the unfortunate victim of it.

Well fuck... I guess one way or another our lifestyles will have to change. Either by severe action to mitigate climate change, or by the impending climate catastrophes things are going to be unpleasant.

Not anymore, there's a blanket.

Being found liable in a civil trial is not a "conviction". Calling trump a proven rapist is accurate, but not a convicted rapist. To be a convicted rapist he would have to have been found guilty in a criminal trial.

Yes the distinction between a proven rapist and a convicted rapist doesn't change how much of a piece of shit Trump is, but it is still a clear legal distinction.

The WHO are just relaying information from the Chinese government. So I wouldn't trust it.

Well the door fell off in this case... But I'm sure Boeing would like to make the point that this is not typical.

But it comes with your choice of meme.

I prefer to use Main/Sub terminology. It also works without needing to change any acronyms.

The only thing eyebrow raising about this is that they were bombers (assuming they actually were). Normally this sort of thing is done with recon aircraft.

As a bisexual British person I absolutely support the idea of returning queer to it's classic meaning. There's also the option of just using both meanings. Context will establish which one you mean.

The Republicans are a right queer bunch, unlike my fellow queers in the LGBTQ+ community.

I much prefer complaining about the weather.

Damn trainsesual agenda, wanting better rail infrastructure.

None of that relates to this murder as based on the description of settler concerns, which are more of an issue in the West Bank rather than Gaza, I'm guessing that this happened in the West Bank. (Where Hamas is not the government.)

Whether the murderers are IDF or settler militants is immaterial to the point of this being an unjustified killing of a Palestinian shepherd living in the West Bank, who is rather unlikely to be a Hamas fighter or involved in the 7th October attack.

Hail king Posfrydon.

I've always took side-loading to mean installing from local storage, as opposed to downloading from remote storage. As far as I'm concerned downloading from a third party app store should not be treated as side-loading.

Do you know that he didn't take a gun safety course? For all we know, he could have had plenty of knowledge on how to safely handle a firearm and simply decided to ignore it for the sake of looking cool. The fact is that no amount of safety training can stop someone who decides to do something stupid.

I absolutely agree with your last point though. There should be extensive training in how to handle a firearm safely required before someone can buy a gun.

Well if you want to execute billionaires then I'm not going to stand in your way. But I absolutely oppose having civil courts ordering death sentences.

Fair points. I was mostly thinking of situations like downloading using a separate device, writing to a usb drive or SD card and installing via that. Downloading an installer and using it is just downloading without using an app store.

I guess we'll have to just lock him up while we figure out some way of stopping him committing cybercrime. If only there were some way of preventing him from committing this crime that requires access to a computer to commit. I guess he'll just have to stay trapped in a phyche ward until society can figure this one out.

Sorry for being snarky and sarcastic, I know what you mean and agree with you. My sarcasm is directed more at the judges ruling and your comment is just what sparked me to write it.
