Arf! I'm Tony Bark. Artist and writer by day. Programmer by night. Gamer all the way.

OpenAI is trying soo hard to put the lid on the pandora's box they opened.

Amazon and SpaceX are unconstitutional.

Shame if something we're to happen to your files.

This thin obsession really needs to stop.

The real winners are the chipmakers.

Just why does anyone actually like that company?

I mean, if Google weren't shit, I'm sure Android would be more viable. They've can't even keep a consistent brand! They've gone from Google Play this and that, to migrating everything - including podcasts - to YouTube.

What the flying fuck?

I'm gonna have to press X to doubt that, OpenAI.

They're going to have a hard time throttling the Fediverse.

Gee, if only this stuff was in the public domain.

Maybe if we just, I dunno, funded more mass transit and made it more accessible? Hell, trains are way better at being automated than any single car.

Words can't describe the idiocy.

How on earth will do they plan on enforcing that? xD

At this point, it feels hard to argue that Twitch's TOS is even enforceable.

I feel sorry for whoever is still living in Russia.

More hate speech research groups, please!

While I appreciate Elon's efforts, he's still a hypocrite.

And OpenAI hasn't exactly been open since GPT-3.

While I completely agree with you on the asshole part, you also have to factor in that right now the Pi still remains the most dominant hardware in that category. Furthermore, I think you're missing the point of what makes a hobby... a hobby.

Online companies: you can do everything on the internet!

Also, online companies: except working.

Welcome to the state where no fun is allowed.

At least they're not killing the protocol.

WTF did I just read? XD

Maybe if Texas shutdown those miners, their power grid wouldn't be so strained all the time.

I love my Steam Deck.

Doesn't mean people should accept their attempts to nickle and dime them.

I don't envy anyone window cleaning a skyscraper. That's just way too far off the ground with very little to latch onto to be considered safe.

So, basically, "you're not doing enough for your party!" Gee, thanks for the encouragement.

WTF? What do they gain or lose from all of this!?

Oh hey, a ban that actually makes sense.

Just as bad, if not worse, than the blockchain craze that came before it.

Judges have ruled that they can't be copyrighted because of this lack of a true author, and I agree.

Starving for fun? Then stop by the local food bank! A must see tourist spot.

I'd rather buy some kind of AAA game.

Before self-hosting web apps became one-click install away, Ubuntu was a lot more convenient with newer technologies, readily available documentation, and a clear update schedule. At least, that was my case.

The motherboard is so freakin' tiny compared to the actual battery, there really is no reason for it not to be swappable.

I'm sure the social network also matters, too.

And everyone else's art has suffers for it.

None. The Fediverse is powered by a simple protocol that functions much like Email. It can scale indefinitely, unlike the "town hall" strategy, and is already being adopted in unconventional ways, like software Forges. It isn't going anywhere.

It really is. Most studies estimate two to three years before the hype begins to die down. But 10 years does seem more reasonable, especially for trilogies or series.
