It's better to cum in the sink than to sink in the cum

You can talk to me in english, spanish or german

As much as I love Lemmy I don't see it going mainstream :/
It's too weird for the general user

Oh my god that sounds like a nightmare

I mean I love Lemmy but I don't see it going mainstream :/

One relatively recent and quite expensive alternative would be electric cars. But I don't really see that as a real, permanent solution, for that you would need a good railway/tram system, which sadly isn't all that common all around the world

As someone who was born in South America, it still kind of bothers me when people calls the US America, as if it was the only country in the whole continent :/
In this case I also thought he meant South America at first, but it's pretty obvious that he means the US

Oh no you didn't just say that

I don't use Linux at the moment, but one of the things I miss most is the lack of bloatware. It's so refreshing to have just the applications you need, not some weird thing running in the background eating up your RAM.

It's hard to say what would change the most for you, as it depends a lot on what you do. I recommend installing it as a secondary OS and trying it out to see if you like it.

One of the great things about Linux is that you can find almost any information you need on the Internet, so it's pretty easy to learn how to use if you're more or less technically inclined and like to research solutions online.

Damn I eat meat almost everyday. I guess I should start a vegetarian diet .-.

Sadly, I haven't found a way to do it. It would be a great feature

I'm sorry, I don't know if "general user" means what I think it means. English is not my first language.

What I meant was that most people who use the internet and social media on a regular basis aren't exactly nerdy/tech-savvy. So as soon as you start talking to them about federated instances and whatnot, they lose interest.

That was more or less my reaction .-.
I expected something nice... but this was the first thing I got when I clicked the link

Kinda hot ngl

Weird, I can only get the version 0.33 through Google Play

I don't know if I could do that honestly. I tried once but I love meat way too much. I think I'm going to reduce my meat consumption to once per week or so, and as soon as lab grown meat catches on, I'm only going to eat that kind of meat.

I completely agree, I don't find it difficult at all. But I have already tried to recommend it to a couple of friends and just having to go through those first steps was enough for them not to want to use Lemmy.

I know, it's more a subconscious thing for me. Also the fact that for whatever reason in many countries of south america we consider north and south america a single continent, so the word "America" would generally refer to the whole continent.

The time has come, to move to Colombia

That when refering to the whole continent, english speaking people use "the Americas", and "America" always refers to the US (in english)

I spent a couple of minutes looking at the red circle until I understood what you meant lol
It's probably a translation error; it shows correctly in German.

jsjajsj yeah, Jerboa froze on me so I had to retype the comment. I didn't realise it had already gone through.

Used to happen to me when I was a kid. Now I'm just careful enough not to piss through the seat

I feel like this is the way. It's more or less the idea with the EU, and I would say it's working great. I just hope this level of cooperation reaches the whole world
