The VC money is drying up and they're demanding a return on investment as the world's economy struggles on at the moment.

Sure Elon, I can provide this service to you for just $8/month. It's great value honestly, I have expenses to continue to run my life and just $8 will happily contribute towards that.

I just hope "injected code" and "overlays" don't become somehow actually illegal because of these rulings because there are plenty of valid uses too.

Super opinionated people who are completely blind to the thing they're discussings shortfalls.

See: anything to do with Linux.

It's the hype from Cryptobros pushing it because it has crypto functionally and its own shitcoin.

Personally, I never liked how it wants to monetize your browsing time constantly and pushes a lot of crypto shit in its advertising. Vivaldi is much better as an alternative imo.

Why are people voting for this kind of crap?

It blows my mind and I'm not even affected by it.

They way it reads is that they were actually playing and circumventing bans, possibly selling accounts too maybe. They were streaming their exploits on Twitch too.

Destiny 2 isn't really online competitive for starters.

I think it will fully come out in at least a perpetual alpha mode like 7 Days to Die one day.

I also think it will probably flop.

I was originally in this camp from the very underwhelming launch it had. Now though, they've spent 7 years actually completing the game they started and beyond and its definitely worth the money. Incredibly, all of the content you see in the video is included in the base game, there's no paid DLCs at all despite the years of work that's gone into it now.

I think a lot of people here are apathetic towards anything Reddit related ultimately and you'd need a lot of engagement with Reddit for it to happen. Or bots, which is what half of the big participants in the last one used anyway.

I wouldn't mind someone botting a little Lemmy advertisment though.

For everyone on Twitter to bail onto it there would need to be an instance with the same level of funding and infrastructure as Twitter to support it.

Both have native apps on Android and iOS that are better imo.

Yes even KBin has an Android app now too.

I have access too and it looks like online matchmaking is not optional in this one. It's going to be a hard pass from me especially when randos can't get past the first mission on the easiest difficulty.

Also the gunplay is not great, the iron sights feel awful to use especially.

It's perfectly fine to use both platforms and still enjoy the niche subs on Reddit. It's a shame they're not all in one app/website but it is what it is.

This is just fear mongering and wrong.

I know what I'm reinstalling later.

It would be one of the greatest redistributions of wealth ever, sadly.

Careful, Russia might try to denazifi your head soon.

Personally, as someone who returned recently after a long break, the new maps absolutely suck with the gimped ass mount they give you. Even after unlocking a bunch of masteries it's still a massive chore to navigate around the map. You mostly go around doing limited time events and especially rifts (which could point you to a part of the map you can't directly travel to) where if you don't get enough "contribution" before the timer ends it doesn't count.

Absolute garbage map and mount mechanics design for this expansion sadly and I've already put it down for something else.

I take real issue with this meme, it's downright offensive that the middle fingers weren't used instead.

The same thing is true about the transformer laptop that was posted on here a bunch but people seemingly loved that despite the steep price for what it was.

I guess you can install whatever browser Apple lets you then.

Me as well.

The last two times the Russians tried invading something that isn't theirs it's gone horribly wrong.

For free? Yeah ESO is a good deal.

However, be aware of its massive shortcomings and once you begin to feel the bite of the horrendous cash store be prepared to ditch it and move on. At a certain point it's just a disappointment considering how great it could be if they weren't trying to nickel and dime you constantly (and it's far more than a nickle or dime too).

Dunno how much I trust that website anyway. Firefox has a setting to force HTTPS mode for instance but that's not reflected in the lists on that page.

Someone mentioned it elsewhere in this thread. I haven't tried it so I am not sure.

No, it really doesn't at all in a sense that anyone cares remotely about.
