Can I use my bixby button for some other feature and how?

I don't want to use bixby or any other assistant. But I want to use the button and was wondering how one could repurpose it. Is there a ideally foss app that allows me to change its job, I couldnt find any way to change it in my settings.

There’s a setting that lets you bind it to some simple things, but also a 3rd party app called BxActions that allows for more functionality

Do you know of something similar for the Google Assistant button that some Nokia devices have, by any chance?

I’m not aware of anything off the top of my head, but I’ve also never looked

I second this question.

In fact, it's pretty much the only thing that bothers me on an otherwise excellent device.
