China really seems to be a breeding/testing ground for all things human-rights-violations.
I understand Hikvision and Dahua have some good tech but I never bought any of their products specifically because of previous reports. There are many great manufacturers from US/EU.
Can you name them for me because I can't seem to find them for sale in Europe. Apart from Axis.
Mobotix (EU), UniFi by Ubiquiti (US), Bosch (EU), Axis (EU)
Axis is the only european one that I'm aware of... everything else looks an awful lot like a rebadged Hikvision or ONVIF P2P in fancy clothing
