The apathetic remained. Those who have niche communities that aren’t available elsewhere likely remained. Several of my subscribed subs are completely gone or functionally extinct due to lack of participation. Anecdotally I find reduced participation in other subs, people seem less willing to have a discussion. Personally I’ve moved on to Lemmy/KBin/etc. and spend most of my time there now. But “crushed”? Nah I'd say crushed because they started forcibly reopening subs, removing moderators, etc etcCrushed is a funny way to spell "all the good people left" Fucking lol
