Reminds me of the Psychlos from Battlefield Earth. Awkwardly walking slowly through every scene they are in because of the boots/stilts that were part of the costume.

Haha. We've been meaning to return to Carnival Row anyway so when we finally get to season two I''ll know what you were talking about.
Not the person you were talking with, but it definitely didn't help that Carnival Row halted production for like 3-5 years between seasons, but the ending was pretty satisfying and the series was really cool but sad overall.
