So this news piece is saying TASS (Russian state media) is its primary source for a piece that should be German domestic news. I couldn't find other sources with a quick DDG. Also, it's a not really well known site, with an AI image as the background, this feels like some low grade narrative pushing.

Still, fuck Tesla and their abhorrent labour practices.

I looked on Google and found several website reporting this news, all unknown little shity website and linked to China like for instance china.org.

i think it's safe to say it's propaganda. I wish more people like you spent time checking the news here instead of brainlessly upvoting stuffs.

Now I’m certainly not one to welcome Russian propaganda, but the cited n-tv is reasonably reputable in Germany.

German press is reporting about this.

Also the WSE put out an invitation to an extraordinary board meeting, alas the agenda only lists "contract matters", and that non-public.

EDIT: Oh, just noticed: It's also an invitation to a replacement meeting to be held in case not enough people (representatives from municipal governments) show up to the regular meeting to be able to make decisions, that quorum doesn't apply for the replacement. The date for that meeting: Same day, half an hour later. Chairman really wants something passed, it seems. Doesn't look like usual procedure, but setting the replacement meeting to the same day as the regular ones happens to be within the letter of the statutes. Nine days from invitation to meeting is also quite urgent, though not emergency level.

Serious German media also have reported that and they say that they have it from the official sources.

Water pollution around the plant has been a contested issue since the planning stage, with Tesla semi-regularly hitting German news about yet another violation of environmental protection measures (most recent iirc was them just dumping waste paint into the plant ground). Haven't checked the sources on this particular news piece but the rumor itself is credible enough given their track record so far.
