Ah okay haha. It's important to like the main character as he's in every scene of the whole thing basically.
I will say... it kind of intentionally makes him annoying at the start, which makes for some good development of his character later. But he won't change completely I suppose. It does start slow, but it will really take off if you get about half-way, and I mean really take off. The first half and the second half are markedly different. You have to enjoy the mystery and just the interactions between the characters as a kind of slice-of-life thing in the start of the anime.
It's alright, maybe it just isn't your genre or your thing. Still my personal favourite of all time, but I am a sucker for that kind of story.
I do wanna try it again, maybe. Its just really difficult getting past that start. From what I know about Steins Gate, you might like Summer Timer Render, its the same theme I think, and unlike Steins Gate, you will know if you gonna enjoy it from the first episode
Finished season 2 of Ancient Magus Bride. I think the first part of season 2 is okay but it got boring for me at the end. Too many other characters that I honestly don't care much for and too few scenes with Chise and Elias together, which is what I feel the story is truly about. Episode 6 is amazing though, maybe even the best episode of the whole show so far.
Will check out Summer Time Rendering next! Do let me know if you ever give Steins;Gate another shot.
Ah cool, I kinda feel like I have to now, since you are gonna watch 2 of my recs
Don't feel obliged haha 😅
Now I REALLY HAVE TO cause you said I dont have to!
