Redmi Note 8 Pro ROM recomendation
Hello guys, i just inherited a Redmi Note 8 Pro. I've been using LineageOS for a lot of time, and I really like the way I managed to set up everything.
I've been searching and because of the processor (MediaTek) it is hard to install Roms, but I really hate MIUI and Google ecosystem, and I don't want to go back to it.
It is really important for me that the rom doesn't have google services.
Any recomandation? I've seen roms like:
- CrAndroid
- Unofficial LineageOS
- HavocOS

Not at all what you're looking for, but in case someone else finds this thread,nit does appear that PixelExperience has an official build.

I haven't used this ROM before. It is AOSP-based and comes with all the Google stuff. So, not wha OP wants...but at least no MIUI.
you could also learn to compile roms and simply use PE's trees and kernel to bring a different rom to your phone!
You can try GSIs even! You could get the device trees, learn and build halium-boot for your phone! Instant ubports and droidian support.
The potential is limitless.
*as long as you have a good CPU, a minimum of 32GBs of RAM, about 200GB disk space, fast internet access, and 12 hours of time per clean build (or try incremental builds that will constantly break).
Having maintained my own branch of LineageOS for a while, I would not take compiling Android as lightly.

A service that comes close to giving 100gb is enough for our needs... ish
On older branches maybe or for compiling twrp, halium and the like.
I will eventually do it, and I will blame you for giving me the idea.
