I have had connection issues forever, but I think I can blame my car for that, as my wife's iPhone has the same issue.
Yeah, in cases like that, I think there could be an environment factor causing interference. There's a spot in town that no matter when, what car, or what phone, it kills the wireless car play or android auto connection.
