It's a no lose position for Musk.

Trump had been attacking EV's in speechs until Musk pledged money to Trump. (As Stephen Colbert proved with his PAC in 2011, money donated to a PAC goes to the private bank account of the politician.)

Trump wants bribes and will reward it with favors like the Mafia don that he is. If Trump wins, Musk wins.

If Trump loses, Democrats won't alter green policies over politics so Musk still wins.
