I think its a popular but not well answered question right now.

I want to know whether I can create a post on Lemmy, by just using a mention from Mastodon.

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using an URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !nostupidquestions@lemmy.world
