Its an ad for a energy company. I hoped it would never happen but here we go. Ads on the canvas. Either those are bots because they are hyper active and many.
Thought this is a user canvas not advertisment canvas.

I don’t see it as much different from things like the Firefox logo tbh. As long as it’s being done by regular supporters and not the party itself though, sure.
Political ads should not be tollerated. As ads are not welcomed in lemmy. Its like free advertisments for them that arent registered.
Again, how is it different from the Firefox logo? Or Osu? Or Hololive? If a company or product is well-liked it’s to be expected that users make art to honor it/get more people to know it.
All of them arent political parties. Volt is a political party. And product logos could be like art. Look at the outer wilds. But that is just straight up ads with bots

Pretty telling how you started griefing before you even knew what it was. There are soooo many logos on the canvas man and you're dead set on trolling a handful of people who want a tiny bit more cooperation and collaboration on the world stage.
I could even understand if Volt was in any way a powerful or extremist party, but you clearly have never even heard of them before.
I really dont get why you are dooing this. Instead of painting somthing of your own you are destroing what others do. Instead of having a political view you are just forbidding others theirs. And for that you are even braking the rules with mutiple accounts. We could be working together here but your contribution ist just bad moods. Just let people live man.

There is no such thing as "neutral space" and there is no such thing as apolitical art. And why don't you have a problem with other obviously political elements on the Canvas, for example country flags?
Country flags are for the pride of the citizen. Its not like "Hey vote for xyz" its just like a soccer/football event with those flags.
But this is, of course, political and ideological. And that also applies to sporting events, of course.
There are also other political elements: QR code linking to Dominion, Ancom star, NATO logo, Peace logo, Vegan logo etc etc.
You are now just mad that no one here agrees with you and therefore behaves destructively.
Bro the difference a political and a product logo. Is the one is backed by their voters. Their goal is to gain power. The other, to show their favourite game.
It's me and my friends. Please just reconsider your choices. You could add something beatiful and time is running out. But instead you are making your own rules of beeing not political (what is strange considering that like 30% of the space is already VERY political) and destroing the work of others. You are not fighting fire with fire. You are fighting a flower with mud. And for no reason aswell considering that there are like 500 people and half of the space is still virgin.

The basic postulate is that we should work together as the European Union and not just focus on our own interests. Thats also why you are so alone in this fight. Like LGBTQ - that ist like a quater of the canvas - all we say ist that we should value the interests of our neighbors as high as our own. This is also the reason why we are painting on vigin space and try not to influence any other painting.
There is so much free space and you are taking so much time to keep it free. If you want a blank canvas just open notepad.
