Exclusive: Ukraine's special services 'likely' behind strikes on Wagner-backed forces in Sudan, a Ukrainian military source says | CNN

Speaking to CNN, a Ukrainian military source described the operation as the work of a “non-Sudanese military.” Pressed on whether Kyiv was behind the attacks, the source would only say that “Ukrainian special services were likely responsible.”
Day 573 of the 3-day special military operation: the country you tried to conquer is, by virtue of being able to accomplish one mission without completely fucking it up, now rivaling your own capability for international force projection and intervening in your proxy wars
Is Putin officially a CIA plant, or is this degree of incompetence actually somehow real?
That seems pretty far from the front lines, why commit resources there?
There reports of Wagner having to transfer large numbers of military assets back to the Russian military. Could Russia have been storing these outside of Russia to try to prevent them from being targeted before Russia wanted to bring them back in to attack Ukraine?
More likely that Wagner is there to corner the gold industry, they've mainly been providing the Sudanese rebels with surplus small arms, which they prob still have a ton of.
With their currency in the shitter, I imagine gold is going to a lot easier to avoid sanctions and trade to foreign partners.
My foiled hat opinion is that this was probably a cross training deployment with the Ukrainian special services and some cia spooks. The Ukrainian get a little closer with the cia and get a little revenge, the CIA gets to learn about strategy and tactics about developing drone warfare.
I just don't see how else a couple Ukranians would transport drones and explosives to Susan unless they received a little outside help.
