Forty countries in a U.S.-led alliance plan to sign a pledge never to pay ransom to cybercriminals and to work toward eliminating the hackers' funding mechanism, a senior White House official said on Tuesday.
I assume this still won't stop companies and state/local governments from paying.
Hack the right server and I dont think it will stop these federal governments from paying.
Have they thought of the shareholders?
