Hello all,

Introducing Game Club! Where as a community we can play-though a game together and then discuss it.

I'll keep voting open until the end of the month and then post the results so everyone knows what we are playing.

Towards the end of July I will start a post to discuss what we all thought.

As this is the first time we are doing this, feedback is welcome.

Edit: I'm still learning this site. The Link is next to the title on google forms.

Hey pick something light and easy to make progress on, no grinding RPGs please!

Wild ARMs is a pretty great PSX JRPG that would be a nice choice for a July GOTM because of its Wild Western feel. Wind Waker might also be a good choice. Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing what wins, and playing it!

I love windwaker. It’s one of my all time favorites!

Yeah I've been meaning to try Wild ARMs. I have XF for the PSP in my backlog

sounds fun, I'm not a big gamer so I don't really finish games hopefully this'll give the the motivation to actually play the games lol

I just (yesterday) installed a TerraOnion Mode in a SPCH-5501. I'm definitely in for a Wild Arms play through (never played it when it was released) and review!

IMO the first game should be something accessible that anyone can get into, like Mega Man X, or Streets of Rage, or an easy to play RPG like Mario RPG or Illusion of Gaia. Cast as wide a net as possible without picking something everyone's played to death.

Or you could roll with whatever was most recently posted on Nintendo Switch Online. Harvest Moon was posted this month, just as an example

Great idea! I submitted an older platformer I’ve been meaning to play.

I think having a multiple choice selection would be nice, as that will ensure that we can see what the options are before voting. otherwise it is possible that everybody votes for a unique game and every game will then have one vote.

Could do two rounds of voting, firat one is a format like this, open ended. Where people can put whatever. And then round two takes games from round one in a multiple choice list. This wouod allow people to google the games and look them up to see what interests them.

Threw in a few classic RPGs that have been on my bucket list to get through.

I'm totally in. This will help me get through my backlog.

I submitted two games.

  1. Brave Fencer Musashi
  2. Tomba!

Both are ps1 games that have sat in my backlog for forever

I’ve been keen to try Brave Fencer Musashi, nice
