A tourist holidaying in Jamaica has died after attempting to drink all 21 cocktails on a bar’s drinks menu, an inquest has heard.
This is incredibly sad for him and his family, a tragedy no matter the circumstances.
Any time I have been on a vacation in a warm-weather Anglophone location, the people who are beet-red sunburned and still outside drinking all day are almost invariably English.
I'm sure it's a tiny, tiny percentage, but the people who combine a Little Britain mentality with a determination to get value for money and a bit of functional alcoholism certainly make themselves known. Terrible American tourists are often much worse to be around, but the specific "wobbly lobster" variety seems to skew English.
He only had like 10 of the drinks and went back to his room and died but here is the salient part:
"brandy and beer throughout the morning."

Beer before liquor, you'll never be sicker.
