I believe I've been hacked, I can't log in.
On Ubuntu I was using sudo with no problem this morning but this evening my password is incorrect... I don't think there's anything I can do...
My question is, can I move my Lemmy instance from this machine to another? I understand very little about this. I'm very new at this... So please eli5.
you probably just have to wait 10 minutes for the wrong password lock to expire

Single user mode, change root password.
Thing is, if you were owned it's super hard to safely find and presents they left you. It's best to take your data to offline disks and wipe.
