I used nobara for a while, but the reality is that while it is a decent option for new people using linux i would still suggest something with a but more backing behind it like Pop_os! or linux mint.
Not surprising considering how popular GloriousEggroll (Nobara's creator & maintainer of Proton-GE) is in the Linux Gaming community. The guy really knows his stuff, and Nobara seems like a great daily driver.
I gave it a fair shake as a daily driver, but there were enough nagging issues to make me go back to Fedora proper.

Not the same guy
And I'm not saying any of these are worthy of going Fedora proper vs Nobara... that's going to be a personal call for each person I think. I think they're both good but here are some differences I've noticed (not a complete list by any means):

partition + LUKS version 2 volume with/
) as well as putting my installs in custom BTRFS subvol's... Neither of which was supported by Calamares as of 6 months ago when I last checked. Talking about graphical options only for both installers, though if someone knows how to specify it anyway from Calamares, I would be interested.I have it on my machine right now but grub went bonkers and won't load anymore so it just defaults to my Windows install.
I've been using it myself since April after jumping from Kubuntu, I thinks it's a great distro, ended my distro hopping after a single hop
