Yeah that's my concern. The first time I read the headline I went "Well, that's their choice to make and we should respect it." But then I noticed the whole military junta part, and that they had overthrown the president. I don't think we can say without fair elections if the people actually want the US to leave. I wouldn't be surprised actually if they don't want the US to leave in light of the military takeover.
