Isn't reddit content just a reflection of people, and people also exist on this platform

Lol no I'm not transabled. I didn't even know what that was, had to Google it.

It crossed my mind because when I sleep I always feel my arms get in the way, thought it would be great to detach your arms for sleep. Then I wondered if people without arms have a noticeably more comfy sleep because they can lay on their side without their arm/s getting in the way, thought continued to other hidden benefits of missing limbs.

Same here. Intermittent. I firmly just moved over to lemmy, after a phased entrance.

I have found Liftoff for Lemmy a good alternative, until boost for lemmy comes live.

I can't comment on anyone with toes out of their ears, but I've seen a lot people with their butt where their face is. Or at least it would appear so, as a lot of shit seems to come out of the hole in their face.

All jokes aside, nice shower thought though!

I can look at my phone when in an awkward conversation, to appear busy/distracted

When my fiancée goes to work, she leaves at 6am. I'm usually asleep still so she wakes me for a kiss goodbye. I reply with sleepily with "drive safe, I love you". If I'm to sleepy to say drive safe I worry 'what if today she is in an accident, and I didn't say it'. So I bought her a key tag thing that says it, so I know ive got myself covered incase I'm too sleepy

Detectorists on bbc. It's a unique, emotional, and hilarious series.

Why so down voted?

This was maybe a month or two ago. I was woken up in the morning by my fiancée who told me I'd left the fridge open over night. When I logged onto work HR informed me the day of annual leave I had carried over was lost due to technical reasons (cut off to take was end of march, I took it first day of April due to work time prrssures. They have no flexibility on rules), then a major headache kicked up from a new keto diet I was on. Then to top it off, I was selling my car, and someone was coming round to look. As I loved it put from the driveway to viewing it sprang a massive oil leak, like 10 mins before they showed up. So they viewed it spewing oil everywhere, not exactly a solid selling point. Needless to say they didn't buy it.

All in one day. That was a shit day for sure.

Why?

Or find an activity to distract. Don't sit on the sofa and watch TV (if that's where you pick), keep busy with other things.

If you were observing as a third person watching in the slowest of slow motion, would the light from the headlights creep forward illuminating the void infront only slightly faster than the speed of which the vehicle is travelling?

Edit: assuming the vehicle is going factional slower than the speed of light.

Portal 2 and It Takes Two are great if you haven't already played them

It's well worth a watch, and true to the remainder of the series!

Strippers vs zombies

Bionic limps, especially legs do look cool! I mean I obviously wouldn't want to lose a limb, but a far as replacements, they're certainly a step up from wooden peg legs and other dated alternatives.

One bionic arms/hands get the same level of sophistication and function as flesh and bone ones, they will be a fantastic alternative for those that need it

I rode this train. Top tip, when booking your seats, book the table with 2 seats, not the table with 4. Then you'll be on the side of the train on the inside of the curve, and get the best view of the train over the viaduct (looking backwards or forwards out the window)

Life was like a box of chocolates

Haha

"How to lose 10kgs instantly with this one simple trick, and dietitians hate it!"

Ah sorry! I didn't realise
