I LOVE Jack-In-The-Box for what it is! It's for sure bottom-tier fast food, but for what you're paying, they make a damn good basic cheeseburger. I find the Jumbo Jack to be way better than whatever Wendy's calls their basic burger. At least at my particular local Jack's, the lettuce and tomato are always super fresh and crisp, surprising for a low-tier fast food joint. The Jack's in my neighborhood have long standing deal with the local sports team where if they hit a home run in a game, everyone in the city gets a free burger the next day!

I gave up hope when I learned that the blue and green recycle bins in my area are really only there to make the consumer feel better about how much we waste as a society. A lot of the stuff we put in those bins still just winds up in a landfill.

Yup. I'm with you, man. I know I'll catch hell from what I've read around, but I'm still hanging onto my Reddit account until the site literally crashes and burns. I was on there since 2006. I really only check it for a handful of things now. Kinda saw the demise several years ago.

I have no idea what the admins of this instance did, but votes and replies have gotten MUCH MUCH better in the last couple of days.

Whatever they did, I hope they keep on doing it.

I really hope so so I can finally ditch Reddit and Twitter for good. I've got two local sublemmys I created that I'm trying to grow, but it doesn't seem like there's enough of a userbase right now to support local communties.
