How is it possible that users noticed strange behaviors (new Cron jobs) and they didn't check the script launched by those jobs 😱

This is why I decided to migrate to Firefox a few days ago

Nice. What I need now is the ability to group tabs together

Rustdesk, I use it for work

I recently switched to Firefox even on mobile and I didn't notice any slowness

When I started looking for a different browser, I almost chose Vivaldi. Then I discovered it was based on chromium os in the end I opted for Firefox

Any distro is better than Ubuntu nowadays. I use pop os personally and it works flawlessly.

What are the advantages of using postgres? It makes radarr/sonarr faster?

Signed. It makes absolutely no sense

This is sad

Guys do you have a memory leak? When it is open, it consumes around 200 MB of RAM. After a while it reaches 800 MB

For personal files I use Borg (with Vorta) and/or Restic

I Wish I would have discovered it before. I think it's very useful when you want to install proprietary software like Matlab or Vivado. With distrobox you avoid to bloat your system and when you want to remove them you simply remove the container

I noticed now that their backend has been updated to the latest RC 0.18 😱😱😱

No to both questions. 2 will be addressed, I don't know if someone already worked on it.

Play Store distributes updates slowly

Thanks for the link! A very pleasant read

League of Legends works perfectly on Linux

We have a similar view in many things (politics, life, and so on) but with very different interests and ways to do daily things

What kind of attack is this one?

I think it shows 100% because it started now to monitor that server, so it has no clue on what happened in the past

Thank you for sharing this, it's an interesting read

Proton and wine for sure

I see this post from my own instance and this wasn't possible until lemmy.ml migrated to 0.18 yesterday so my hope is that comments are fixed too and when other instances Will upgrade to 0.18 today the situation should be better everywhere

The vim related extensions works for real? 😱 I need to try them ASAP!

Lemmy doesn't require a lot of resources to run smoothly, especially for instances with a low number of users. The only concern may be if you upload a lot of images, they are stored on your drive.

If you don't want to manage a single user instance you can join someone's instance (like mine, I am the only one in my instance)

Yep sorry, I made the post while I was in a hurry. Thank you for the link!

The ring.

I think it's worth it, starting from the fact that you support them for offering you free lifetime storage for all your chats, files and media

I think you are the bot here because this can't be true 🤦

Sorry, I forgot to mention that it's Pop OS. And I think it started to be stuck in this mode 2 weeks ago

I'm using Pop OS for gaming and work and it works flawlessly. Looking at the game you listed, I think they will work without problems. Give a look at protondb so you can have an idea. However I would suggest you to try it yourself and see how it goes, gaming on Linux is a very different matter compared to ten years ago!
